Closed - Plot: Storm Redux
It wasn't that Josie didn't care what was going on or that she didn't want to help but, honestly, there wasn't a whole lot she could do. With her bum leg and her cane, she'd be more of a hindrance than a help.
And there was something deep in her that kept telling to stay out of the way, to watch, to listen, to see how things shook out. To observe and note but not interfere.
So she did for as long as she could in between power fluctuations at her not-very-well-wired hotel; in fact, she was surprised power hadn't gone out completely. She really ought to get an apartment.
She stood at the window and watched the storm rage. It reminded her of something ... she just couldn't quite put her finger on what it was.
