Alright ladies and gents! Things have been WAAAAY too quiet around here lately. I definitely think it's time we start thinking about the important things in life, such as relationships. I have been lax on my matchmaking duties as of late, so I'm remedying that right now!

So! It's time for Viola's Corner. This is the portion of your journal reading where you can ask/tell me ANYTHING. Relationship advice/questions, matchmaking wishlists, gossip, advice in general, ANYTHING. All comments will be screened (unless you state otherwise and don't care) since this is an open forum and I am not in the business of spreading other people's personal issues around.

With that being said, let's fire away! I'm bored, I'm ready, so hit me with your best shot!

OOC Note: For fun, we're gonna pretend the comments are screened. So unless someone states otherwise, all comments and Viola's answers can only be seen by her and the original poster. :)

Do you think a relationship can be rekindled after something has caused the two involved to grow distant?

I love that everyone is asking questions that I can relate to this time around!

Yes, I absolutely think so. And not just because it just happened to me! If two people have a real connection, even distance can't erase that. It all depends on what the reasoning for the distance was, and if both parties still feel the same way. Emotions are fickle, and they don't just go away because we want them to. So even if you think you've talked yourself out of it, that might not actually be the case. Communication and honesty are key, however, so you have to be up front with the other person (and yourself!) about how you feel and what you want.

On a scale of one to ten it was an eleven. But he doesn't know why we distanced. So I'm sorry for bombarding you but would you personally tell the other party what happened or just rekindle and hope they brush it over and don't ask?

No need to apologize! I posted this so people could ask, so ask as much as you like.

I think honesty is the key in any relationship. If you (or whoever) keeps it from the other party then it can get messy. There will always be that under the surface, unresolved and festering, and it could cripple things later. If it's brought up right from the start, it's like starting fresh. A clean slate, with all the issues resolved and put to rest.

How am I meant to tell Callum I had a pregnancy scare? Did you tell your person about the issue?

Yes I did...eventually. I will not lie and say I came right out with it. I was scared for too long, I think, and I nearly lost him for good. It was difficult, but in the end telling him was the best thing I could have done.
