So, the usual restrictions on what I can wear to this Valentine's day dance that is apparently happening? If I even go.

It is how it is, Lucy. The whole thing is rather a mess and I would much prefer to keep it so that no one gets more hurt than they already have, you know?

The worst person? Shall I start making a list of people I disapprove of them for you? It won't ruin everything, Lucy, all you have to do is tell him you just want to go as friends if he does not seem perfectly receptive.
