I do believe that the world has become a very dark place in a very short time. However, one must remember that it is always darkest before the dawn. While it is sometimes difficult for us to realize this, it is best to press on no matter what the circumstances.

Don't apologise. You've had plenty enough to deal with on your plate, and I've been busy sleeping and eating this awful chocolate pudding.

Oliver's doing well, and the hospital released me this morning. We're heading to Saint-Tropez for a day or two of relaxing - apparently Max, Jack, and several of the others are visiting on all week.

How are you? How have you been holding up?
