[Warded Private]

It is regretable and I should have preferred to not involve Mina's family in any way, but when they choose such poor company, it is not a matter of my preferences.

With the outcry being what it is, I believe there is a need to remind our supporters where the responsibility for these battles rests.

[Warded to Death Eaters & Supporters]
While I certainly hope that this is not the case, I recognise that we are all human. As such we cannot help but be moved and perhaps even to question based upon something as ever shifting as emotion may be. This is not necessarily a weakness in individual thought, but it is certainly a weakness if one does not recognise it for what it is.

In answer to the questions asked by many upon the journals - why purebloods? why innocents? - I wish to remind you all that the Dark Lord offered peace to the Wizarding World in October. He made a promise that no more innocent blood would be shed if the Minister, the Ministry, and the people in our towns would recognize his sovereignty and the superiority of the ideals we are currently fighting for. This generous offer was turned away and rejected. The ministry elected a Minister willing to allow the Aurors to invade our private homes without provocation, and give them the freedom to use the Killing Curse upon any who might recognize the corruption of the Ministry and the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. The Bones were purebloods yes, but by their very own words they not only turned away the generosity of our lord, but they spat in his face as well.

The consequences of these decisions are painful, certainly. I would think less of you if you had no questions, and if you had no doubts about those who were injured than if you find yourself with both. However I remind you of this:

Each of those parties either through direct rebellion or passive compliance have continued to reject the peace extended by the Dark Lord.

We are truly in a war against the DMLE and the vigilante Citizens who continue to reject, and actively rebel against the Dark Lord's offering. The fate of our world rests in your hands, and the world our children will inherit must be the world full of peace and prosperity that the Dark Lord is willing to give us. Until the Ministry and these vigilantes accept what is given, the blood of these so-called innocent civilians rests on their heads.

The Dark Lord will see us through victoriously. These are very dark days, but he will see us through to a beautiful prosperity. Remember that.

Thank you. The outcry is not unexpected, but they have been given the means to end the violence if they would. I thought it was worth reminding some of the younger of this fact.

Indeed. Admittedly, the performances of late have been more than acceptable. Those involved in yesterday's attack performed admirably, as did Regulus and Severus. Success from seeming failures.

I am impressed with the work both of them did. Regulus has humbly asked to continue his work with wards and I believe I will work with him on that for the next week or two. It is a skill that may continue to be useful in the future. I was not certain of his dedication, but since his father's death, he seems to have stepped into his shoes as head of the family. I admit I may have been too hasty to judge.

Young Severus seems to do well also. I feel it is potentially time to begin rewarding those who have done well - perhaps a meeting to discuss this matter with the Dark Lord would not be out of line at this time.

Certainly Regulus has proven himself a worthy member of our Dark Lord's ranks. I admit myself impressed with his abilities and dedication, and I will be pleased to have him as my son-in-law this coming July. Celeste has been quite happy with him of late, and it seems their wedding preparations are coming along smoothly.

I believe you are right. There are a few in our ranks deserving of rewards at present.

You speak the truth, Mr Nott, and so very well. Thank you for reminding us of the compassion and dedication of the Dark Lord in bringing us into a bright, peaceful future. My faith in His Cause is, as always, unwavering.

I wish that the rest of the Wizarding World would more quickly see the truth of this, Mrs Greengrass.

I hope you and your family are well?

I strongly believe that they will come to their senses, in time.

We are, thank you for inquiring. My children are both happy and healthy, and my husband a soldier in the Dark Lord's ranks. There is nothing more I could ask for.

And you and yours, Mr Nott?

Thank you, sir. I admit that it can be more difficult some days than others, and as such your reminder is truly appreciated.

While we're on this topic, there is something that I've been wondering if it was worth bringing to attention. As you may not know, I have befriended Joanna Podmore, sister of the hitwizard and girlfriend of the Auror Scrimgeour. I know where my loyalty lies, I have friends who do not share our beliefs and while it saddens me I know that I cannot protect them from their own foolishness. Joanna, though, has shared with me in strict confidence that she agrees with the Death Eaters. It puts her in a difficult position, of course, considering who her brother and boyfriend are. I'm not sure how useful this information is, though I admit that I'm afraid that she, too, might be attacked to reach them through her, and I'm hoping that she might be more useful to His Cause alive and helping us. I put all my faith in Our Lord to take the best decision in this regard, of course.

On another topic, you might be interested to know that the Heritage Minute on Albus Dumbledore, as you suggested, should air this week. I'm putting the finishing touch to it.

Joanna Podmore? Yes, I know the name. She agrees with the Death Eaters? I trust that you were careful with your own words as well. It would not do to have you compromised.

And I certainly do look forward to that.

I was very careful to remain neutral, I assure you, as I cannot afford to appear anything but unbiased. I encouraged her to speak freely by comforting her that I was used to hearing and considering both sides of every story, in my work, and that as such I would not judge her whatever she was so hesitant to say.

Thank you. I'm just frustrated that I wasn't able to remove them all quickly enough. The DMLE arrived so quickly... I can't help but feel at least partially responsible that two blood traitors are still alive.

I would like to concentrate on my warding, if that is all right with you?

Likely they were able to send a warning before we overcame them which is no fault of your own. They have defied the Dark Lord and they will get their punishments. In the meantime they will live with the memory of what their traitorous actions have brought to their family.

You have a talent for it, and I certainly approve of utilizing one's talent. Bring your books again next week on your usual evening.

How if your mother?

Most eloquently put, Mr. Nott, however lamentable it remains that such reasoned discourse must be placed behind wards while the vulgarity of the frothing masses is displayed for all to see.

I had considered a well dictated letter to the Prophet - or perhaps an anonymously signed letter to the Prophet... People ought to be reminded of what the Dark Lord has offered and they have turned away. These are the results of such.
