He made a promise that no more innocent blood would be shed if the Minister, the Ministry, and the people in our towns would recognize his sovereignty and the superiority of the ideals we are currently fighting for. This generous offer was turned away and rejected. The ministry elected a Minister willing to allow the Aurors to invade our private homes without provocation, and give them the freedom to use the Killing Curse upon any who might recognize the corruption of the Ministry and the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. The Bones were purebloods yes, but by their very own words they not only turned away the generosity of our lord, but they spat in his face as well.

The consequences of these decisions are painful, certainly. I would think less of you if you had no questions, and if you had no doubts about those who were injured than if you find yourself with both. However I remind you of this:

Each of those parties either through direct rebellion or passive compliance have continued to reject the peace extended by the Dark Lord.

We are truly in a war against the DMLE and the vigilante Citizens who continue to reject, and actively rebel against the Dark Lord's offering. The fate of our world rests in your hands, and the world our children will inherit must be the world full of peace and prosperity that the Dark Lord is willing to give us. Until the Ministry and these vigilantes accept what is given, the blood of these so-called innocent civilians rests on their heads.

The Dark Lord will see us through victoriously. These are very dark days, but he will see us through to a beautiful prosperity. Remember that.

The Dark Lord desires Fenrir Greyback. We will begin with werewolf services - Find out everything we can about Greyback and those who are in his pack - but we will need to make plans from there. A halfbreed he might be, but the Dark Lord clearly has some use for him, and it is clear he needs a Master.

The Dark Lord desires information currently held within the werewolf registry in the Ministry of Magic. Those involved will need to break into the registry, retrieve these files and destroy those that are unneeded, all the while remaining undetected by the Ministry personnel until it is too late.

I would like to see a plan from those who wish to be involved.

I have taken the liberty to reserve a room for us at Ashford Castle. We should be able to enjoy a quiet dinner. This is of course, with me taking the liberty to assume that you are still available tomorrow evening?

Barty has kindly provided us with information about the security that the DMLE has set up, which has assisted us in our plans for the evening. The Minister of Magic taking the stage to announce costume winners will be your cue. Those of us in the Inner Circle will move towards the door of the ball first where we will prepare a place for us to change from our Masquerade costumes into our masks and robes.

Then we will seek out those in the DMLE so that the Dark Lord can make his entrance without difficulty. There will be a large number of civilians at this event, and unless you know the civilian is a mudblood with absolute certainty they are not to be targeted. Without knowing who is under the mask, it is difficult to know if they would be a pureblood or of the proper viewpoints and the Dark Lord does not wish any of magical blood to be harmed unnecessarily. If they attack you, it does not mean you can not fend them off, but do not kill them.

After the Dark Lord places the Dark Mark in the sky you will be free to leave.

Do we all know our costumes at this point? Lucia has not yet shared mine with me, but I will share that information as soon as I have it. I think it would be prudent if we know what we are dressed as.

Apparently the Inner Circle will be meeting this morning. This coming on the heals of my conversation with the Dark Lord proves only that what I was saying was true. The younger generation has no comprehension of the seriousness of the duties that they are requested to perform and we must impress it upon them.

Avery is Xavier's son; he is not some halfblood prodigy like Snape but rather the son of one of his Inner Circle. We should not be required to have these conversations.

Perhaps I am too dire. After all, this is the DMLE and their information and informants may be less than trustworthy. But Gavin has too much information and could compromise too many. This cannot be taken lightly.

Barty: Take care of Gavin Avery. Be careful and clean - nothing should point back to you.

An absolute waste. The only thing that can be said for the situation is that at least she did not marry a flat out Muggle. Still, there is absolutely no one to care whether a Muggleborn family line continues - and yet the Nott family line continues without an heir. Too many pureblood Wizarding family names die out and mine will not be among them. But if Lucia cannot give me a son I do not know what the answer is.

My father would consider me a failure, but it has not been for lack of the attempt although that would make no difference to him although that does not solve the problem at hand.

The Library being closed is going to put a stop in my research for a bit - perhaps I should look at the preliminary material for the next book. I hate to do that, but without access to certain collections - assuming they were not obliterated in the Lestranges' haste to destroy everything not related to the shield - it will be difficult to continue working on my current project. Thus, it makes sense to begin briefly on the next.

And Lucius' thoughts are good. I believe he will be pleased by the ideas.

We wear our masks for a reason. The day will come when we will be able to state our goals and missions publicly. When He is triumphant and our world is a place of peace, purity and prosperity.

In the meantime, discretion is essential. We do not wish the entirety of the Wizarding World knowing our identities, but more importantly, we do not wish the DMLE who consider us a threat to their power knowing our identities. When you are given a mission for the Dark Lord, you are to carry it out well and accurately, yes, but you are also to leave only the marks he wishes to have left. If you cannot accomplish this, or if your identities are in some way compromised that will be noted.
