[Warded to Lucius]

Lucius, considering the work you have done thus far, I would like to have you gathering more information. The methods you use, of course, are at your discretion, but the keyword, of course, is discretion.

We have gathered information on Bones, already and it was put to good use if not as good as it. What Ii would like to have is further information on other senior Aurors and hitwizards within the department. Scrimgeour, Longbottom, Prewett, more on Robards, even Podmore - you know the full list of course, but these are all ones that have come up as being particularly dangerous.

Homes, families, weak spots, patrol schedules - anything that you can manage to get your hands on without compromising yourself. And do not compromise yourself, Lucius. I would hate to see your talents and ability wasted.

[Warded to Lucia]
Perhaps we ought to take Tullia and Prisca to the play in Diagon?

[Warded to Mina]
Tomorrow evening? Are you free?

French cuisine would be lovely. That reminds me, I saw Narcissa the other day, just checking in on her redecorating plans for the school now that she's seen the location. She would not stop going on about how lovely it was to have a French chef and how they were considering hiring him on full time, though she'd worry all of the butter he cooks with would make her gain weight. Of course, even if they haven't announced it, I am sure there is something else that may make her gain weight over the coming months. Though I'm sure you're not interested in such gossip.

I haven't in great detail, no. I will, if it would please you. Perhaps you would like me to find out her opinions on Tristan Rosier in particular?

Narcissa's taste is exquisite, we need not worry that the school will be appropriate for our children. Are they expecting a child?

I would be most interested in her opinions on the young man, yes. The family name is strong, and there are few others that I think would be appropriate for a woman of her social standing. Many of her friends are engaged or at the very least being courted and I should like to move her into that area of her life as well. I fear I have not done this so timely as father would have done.

Indeed it is. She has a wonderful eye. And she has not said if they are or not, but I have my suspicions. She declined to answer when I inquired.

I will speak to her.

And Patrice, you are so critical of yourself. You are doing a wonderful job in your father's stead. What is more important than her age is whether or not she is ready, and only she and you can judge that.

Please remember my father gave me two years out of Hogwarts before he arranged anything, and what more could I want for my life? Laelia should be so lucky.

Lucius has mentioned nothing, but perhaps they are waiting for a bit. It is an understandable thing to do.

I appreciate your confidence, ma cherie, but I cannot help but think my father would have done so already. With Father's death, it is likely inappropriate for her to be engaged immediately, but a courtship, certainly and while I do not wish to rush her in that, I should like for her to feel confident that she will be wed as she is ready.

It certainly is. That's why I didn't press her for details. It wouldn't have been proper. Still, I couldn't help but be struck by how young she is. I was younger when I had Tullia, I know, but Narcissa just seems as though she hasn't quite grown up.

She is young still, beau. And she is beautiful, and she is a Nott. You worry for her too much. Everything will be fine. I'll speak with her, and find out who she prefers.

Though, I admit, your concern is so endearing. It isn't long before you will have to have similar concerns for Tullia and Prisca. Tullia is eleven already.

I think everyone younger feels that way. Most of the young men who are engaged feel very much that way to me but then I suppose everyone is younger than I was

I know that she is, but I do not wish to be remiss. Speak with her, Lucia and we will move forward from there.

And do not remind me, I am trying to see them still as the little girls they were a few years back - and Prisca is still!
