It is always a delight to see a birthday present so enjoyed. I am glad as well to see that she has taken full responsibility for it. I believe Mr Zeller's lessons have been rather useful in that regard.

I admit I had the same thought. I should like to ensure it is more than a passing interest however. A pony, while a responsibility, is less so one than a full horse and I should dislike the idea of buying an animal so expensive and then to see it neglected because this has been a passing fancy.

Perhaps we should simply encourage the interest and in the autumn when Tullia leaves for Hogwarts, if she is still interested, perhaps we could look into a Friesian or another breed if Mr Zeller has a preferred recommendation?
