I confess I miss this study area when we are at Nott Manor during the summer. The Woodlands seem to almost breathe words onto my parchment without struggle. Or perhaps it is merely that I inked most of my first book here in this study that I have a preference for it. Such preferences are emotional and not rational, but I suppose such is likely.

As you will have seen from Mr Mulciber's journal, I have been assigned as your mentor. It is the goal of the Inner Circle to see each and every one of you excel so that you are best able to serve the Dark Lord. While it is not likely that each Outer Circle member will gain the honour of access to his Inner Circle, it is my goal that all of you should have the opportunity to prepare for such an honour should you so desire it.

Thus we will begin regular training sessions both individually, as well as with each other. Unless you can give me a very excellent reason why you are not available on Saturday afternoon, you may, beginning the first Saturday in November, block out the period from 3 - 6pm. This will be our group training session and these will take place at the Woodlands. Promptness is expected.

Now, your first assignment. What do you feel are the strengths, both magical and personal that you bring to the Dark Lord's army. Where do you excel? Conversely, where are you weak? What areas personally and magically do you feel that you could improve? I will make my own assessment on Saturday, but I want to know what your assessment of yourself is.

Finally, what is your first and second choice evening for individual training. I will accommodate these as best as I am able, but I make no promises in that regard.

~~This is redundant.~~ I excel in areas of offensive dueling and have been practicing savate since I was fourteen. Of the three Unforgivables, the Cruciatus is my strongest. I do not faint at the sight of blood. My weaker areas include what my father calls "a temper," a general dislike of women working on the front-lines of the Dark Lord's cause, and magic of the subtler sort (the Imperius, &c).

As for individual training: Mondays, Tuesdays.

	The conservatory is lovely I concur. The library there is nice as well, and I did write my second book mostly there. Of course we spend most of our Christmases at the Woodlands as well, which is yet another set of good memories. (Reply to this) (Parent)

I am ashamed to admit that physically, I am quite weak. It comes from being viewed as a society lady, when we are expected to lift little more than our teacups. My duelling is likewise poor, though I am quite skilled at the fire charm. My greatest strengths are in my potions and my determination.

As for individual training, my schedule allows for great freedom in the weekday evenings, so my first choice would be Thursday, with my second choice being Wednesday.

You need not ashamed to admit that, Persephone. You have not been given the same opportunities to excel in strength that the men are given. In truth, your magical ability may be able to overcome this, but you will need to improve your duelling. When we meet, we will work on your duelling. I believe you may still give the appearance of lifting only teacups while still learning to excel.

Let us go with Wednesday then. Seven o'clock please.

I would place my ability to gain the audience of high-ranking Ministry officials as my greatest strength, where others may opt to claim one of their sparring skills. While my dueling ~~may~~ is not up to the same level as the others, I excel with the Imperius curse, as well.

Offensive dueling has always been a weakness, but I will work to correct this.

Tuesday or Friday evenings would be my preferences, although I realise the lateness of my reply leaves me in no place to make requests. My apologies for not responding sooner.
