Your apology is accepted, Laelia. I confess I find myself at a bit of a loss. I do not wish to upset you or to frustrate you, but you are at an age that it is expected that you should marry. To be honest, with Father no longer living, it is perhaps even more important that you are able to begin life with your own home and family.
You said you were attending the Mulciber's ball, and I am certain that your dance card will be full and you will have every opportunity to speak with the young men and get a feel for which ones you enjoy conversation with. Many of these young men are also on the journal network - find the opportunity to speak with them and determine which you enjoy conversing with the most. That, for the moment, is my suggestion. We can speak afterwards, and if you have a preference, perhaps we can discuss such then.
You mentioned you would like someone more mature, and Rabastan Lestrange comes to mind as a possibility although after the Masquerade, you may have a better idea if you are interested, additionally, Tristan Rosier might be an option. There are certainly other young men who are possibilities, and if you have a preference I will consider it. But I want to ensure that you are able to have a home used to the one that you are used to having
