I was supposed to meet Astoria this week to show her some of my music... I might have met this man. I really can't understand how someone could do that to another person.

If she thinks I'm good enough she wants me to play in her musical. ~~I may be having a minor panic attack.~~ She said she's going to talk to father. But--I don't want to get my hopes up because he might say no and she might hate how I play and--I've never been on stage! And this isn't a good idea. I should tell her I'm not doing it. I'll tell her now. Telling her now.

Added later: SHE WANTS TO HEAR ME PLAY TODAY. You have to come with me. Please.

	The pianist who auditioned for my musical also auditioned for first violin. He could replace Stanley, but then I'm left without a pianist. I can play either part, but I'm exhausted and I'm supposed to be taking it easy. So, I will need a pianist. 	Why don't you come over to my parents' place for tea? My family has a lovely piano there. Flora is welcome to come, too, of course. Approaching your father directly was exactly what I had in mind.
