Previous Entry  Add to memories!  Tell a Friend!  Next Entry
Greetings, Lakewood Shores residents! I'd like to take a moment to introduce, or for some of you reintroduce, myself. My name is Tess Velmont and I am the owner and Lead Contractor of CMV Construction. I've recently relocated to the lovely town of Lakewood Shores full time and am presently residing in my family's summer home in Ocean Views. Many of you may remember me from being here with my family pretty much every single Summer up until around ten years ago. This place has always been really special to me which is part of why I decided to open up an office for my firm in Lakewood Shores. The community is certainly growing and thriving and, as someone who can readily recall this town's more humble beginnings, I feel that I can offer my services in a way that retains and respects the small town charm of this lovely town.

With that being said, I'd like to invite you all to contact my office for any and every construction need you may have. There is no project too small or too large for CMV Construction and we have qualified individuals on staff to handle any and every obstacle we may encounter. So feel free to give us a call and we will be happy to send our one of our qualified experts, possibly me, to gauge the scope of the project. We guarantee that you will be given an accurate estimate within a twenty-four hour period. And, for a limited time only, as a way of saying thank you for welcoming us into your community, I will knock ten percent off of the usual labor cost on your first project.

My abuelo used to work construction for like, a hundred and fifty years. He fixed everything with wood. He once fixed my mom's minivan door with a piece of wood. I came along on jobs sometimes and helped. Also I'm Mexican, so that's a qualifier.
No don't put that, that's a bad idea.

Plus, I used to build stages for shows on the road, so I've got the basics on how tools work, and what they are, and how screws are things that you use for stuff, and sometimes glue. I'm starting to worry I'm overqualified, to be honest.

So, in other words, you've no credentials, but you've built some stuff.

Come by the office sometime. As long as you have a capacity to learn and can lift things, I'll probably be able to find something for you to do.

I wouldn't have used those exact terms, but... yeah, pretty much.

Wait are you serious?

I need crew. I doubt I'd be putting you on lead for any project any time soon, but those in my employ who have credentials could use some support. As long as you don't mind starting out at the bottom rung, I'm serious.

As long as my daughter and/or my clients aren't around, I don't really care how you talk.

Call the office and set up an appointment to come see me.
