personality | |
First Impression: Fisk is a rather quiet, seemingly shy young man with a tendency for fits of anxiety. Extremely polite and friendly, he is only really social with the few people he happens to trust, particularly his younger brother, who resides in his care. On first impression to a complete stranger, he seems a tad bit nervous, however is always polite and warm, hoping to just blend in with the crowd. However, if you were to meet him with his mask on, he would seem far more outgoing, possibly even abrasive. It's as if the mask allows him the ability to play the part of an actor, another person entirely. He hides his weaknesses behind it, using his false persona to tap into the strength and courage he so desperately wishes for. Positive Traits: Loyal. Quick. Intelligent. Quiet. Self-reserved. Adaptable. Discreet. Negative Traits: Anti-social. Sly. Clinging. Compulsive. Detatched. Turn Ons: Maturity. Motherly. Independence. Manipulation. Strong will. Turn Offs: Immaturity. Youth. Air headedness. Social Persona:Fisk is a survivalist; if he seems jittery, it's because he's busy assessing his surroundings, checking all of his escape routes. Living on the streets, Fisk learned to be rather sly, and extremely quick; it certainly pays off for his night job. He isn't exactly the most social of creatures, likely to only be seen with a small circle of people whom he considers close, or trustworthy; he warms up more easily to seemingly mature, strong willed women, those who tend to remind him of his mother. He will speak when spoken to, and has a soft spot for children, especially those who remind him of his younger brother. To complete strangers, he is rather polite, and tries to appear like just another normal independent youth trying to make it without getting into trouble. However, he is an extremely skilled thief and pick pocket. He is also extremely crafty, talented with his hands; somewhat of an inventer, he creates many of his own weapons, as well as knick-knacks for his brother and his friends. |

Fisk wasn't raised inside a happy family; his father was a heavy alcoholic with a tendency of becoming extremely violent towards his mother, his younger brother, and himself. The abuse was so bad, a teacher at Fisk's school noticed the bruises on he and his brother and called the police; his father was arrested, and with no money of her own to take care of her kids, his mother placed he and his brother in foster homes. Fisk was devastated, having always thought that his mother was the one person who truly loved he and his brother (the devastation of her abandoning them may have been what led to his clinginess with women, particularly those who are older or more mature than he). Fisk and his brother Jacob were in and out of foster homes for years, many of which housed families who we just as abusive, if not more abusive, than his father had been. Still, despite the difficulties of his personal life, Fisk excelled at school. An extremely bright student, he skipped several grades and was accepted to a program for gifted teens; he got a full ride to a college of his choice, and graduated several years before his peers. But not an young adult, Fisk needed to find a way to survive, and he needed to get his much younger brother out of the system. With two of his college friends (fellow inventors of sorts), Fisk formed the Terrible Trio; together, they pulled off a few heists in Gotham. Fisk was able to bust his brother out of the foster home he was currently occupying; once Jacob was in his custody, Fisk abandoned his two friends and fled to Kismet. He owns a pretty decent two bedroom apartment where he and his brother reside, and he has a day job as a book store clerk. While he has some things together in his life, there's no doubt that he's a little unhinged due to his past; as such, he has a history of continuous criminal activity. | |
