We here at Nyx extend our deepest condolences to those affected by the events of last night. While we rebuild we take time to honour our friends and colleagues who were hurt or killed whilst working in the bar last night, and hope you will understand our need to focus on what is really important at the moment.

Thank Merlin it was mostly the dud team last night and my good bartenders saw sense to hide. Hiring right now will be a nightmare.

I understand it would be suspicious if both my bar and the flat had been undamaged after the fight, but it was awful to see my pride and joy that way. Still, it’s only material things, and the Ministry is unlikely to let me open any time soon anyway. We have time. Maybe I can even make some improvements. I feel like this is going to be a good year for us.

I’m glad I could help make your night even better. I’m sure there are many more nights like that ahead of the two of us.

I know how much the bar meant to you, Theia. However, you are not wrong. It would have been far too suspicious had it been left untouched and the flat is not anywhere within reach of damage. That, in and of itself, would have been suspicious as well. As I've said, baby, anything you need to bring it back, just ask.

Your staff, on the other hand, easily replaced.

I look forward to having you on top of me calling out my name like that again. Very soon.
