"You're smiling too," she murmured, tracing his lips with a fingertip. "You'd better still love me. I don't know what I'd do if you didn't." Her eyes had teared up at the thought of him not, and she sniffed hard to keep herself from crying. There was no need, and it would simply upset him. "You're still gorgeous. I don't think you can be anything but wonderful." Running her fingers over his wings, she chuckled. "If you'd like, I can clean those for you." Moving her fingers up to his hair, she ran her fingers through it, pushing it out of his face. "Your eyes are so pretty. Is this what you looked like before?"
