China is amazing. Quite literally. Bill and I arrived yesterday afternoon and met with a translator. Visited the reservation north of Danshan this morning. It is a female, and she has been appropriately named 希望 (Xi Wang), which means "Hope" in Mandarin.

The food is fantastic. Bill and I are being hosted by a wizarding family in the heart of Danshan. Another visit to the reservation in the morning, and then we shall probably be back in the evening. Tonight, I think we may just explore the markets and enjoy more traditional foods.

She's underweight and smaller than average (and Fireballs are usually smaller as a whole), but otherwise seems remarkably healthy. What do you think? Isn't she beautiful?

You'd want me to come with you to China? ~~Godric...~~ That'd be amazing. Really, I'd love that. And a dog size dragon sounds adorable.

Oh Godric, Charlie, she's precious! She looks almost cuddly. What a sweet little face!

I'm not a great dancer either. But nothing you could do would really disappoint me. Not really. And I don't always look lovely, trust me. I feel so out of place at those things. I do have a have a photo. It's um...well, not that great but all the same:

So there you see. Look just as out of place as normal.

China just seems like the best option. It would be the youngest dragon you could possibly meet, which would be the safest.

She does chew, enough to break skin, but it doesn't hurt really. They do that when they're looking for their mother's milk, but baby dragons ween in just a few days. By the time you meet her she will probably be eating rodents.

You look lovely in the photo. Your ability to dress yourself is clearly quite solid, compared to what you've told me.

And yes, I do. I've found I rather enjoy talking with you.

	China sounds lovely. I've never been, and I'd love to go! Well, I'll be sure to be careful. My cats bit sometimes, but it's worth it because they are sweet. Can I feed her one? Like rats? Oh! I'd love to. I'd think it be really interesting. I feel my cats a raw diet, no mice, just chicken, fish, things like that. So I'm not afraid of things like that. Sounds fascinating.

That...makes me feel nice. Now I really do wish you were there.

I suppose it is. You know what Charlie, I think we might have to accept we like each other and like talking to each other. There's just no way around it.

Probably not a wise idea. He thought I was a bit off my rocker when I said it made me laugh and like you even more.

I'm tougher than I look, Charlie Weasley. Keeper and all. I've seen some things in my day.

There will be better opportunities to see you. I hope a lot more.

Good. Because now that we've established that I'm staring at my journal and smiling a bit like an idiot. Hugging it to my chest might have been involved. I won't confirm or deny.
