001 - Back at the Burrow
I suppose I ought to have owled, but you should have seen the look on my mum's face when I turned up this morning unannounced. Felt late to me, but apparently I had forgotten the time difference and surprised her before she had a chance to get coffee on (which would be no big deal for anyone other than Molly Weasley. Word to the wise: do not rob this woman of the chance to be a good hostess).

I haven't lived at the Burrow since the week after I graduated Hogwarts, and have only been home for a few days at a time. Seems strange that I will be there until I can find a place I call my "own." How do I even go about doing that? In Romania, I built a cabin. Perhaps I could do that here? I'm sure mum would get a hoot out of a miniature cabin for her son to live in, just on the other side of the garden.

Speaking of, mum's none too thrilled about Păcală and Luana taking up residence with the owls.

I feel as if I have been out of the loop for so long. So, what's new, England?

We could have miniature ones and feed them burgers.

Can we make that happen, like, yesterday?

BONSAI DRAGONS, YES?

Just go with the flow and admit we're brilliant. Life is easier that way.

So much.

And remember us in your acceptance speech when you get rewarded for saving the dragons OF THE WORLD.

Through ROMANCE.

Dragons don't eat burgers.

Too dainty. Dragons don't have time for buns and condiments.

Hmm, I suppose I see your point, but where on earth would I get an entire cow?

Don't be silly, I haven't got the right sort of shoes for a farm. I don't suppose you know if you can get mail order cows?

Owls are too small to carry our cows. YOU CAN BORROW MY WELLIES I have all sorts.

Hmm, a valid point.

I rather think that bonsai dragons will be able to eat burgers, because they are also dainty. Thus the wellies and icky outdoors are unnecessary.

All my points are valid!

And all my wellies are cute! You should come see. Our cows are nice.

TRUE. I don't think he can argue against the badassery of dragons. Plus he'd pick out one of the old ones. No roast beef, sigh.

No one can argue against the badassery of dragons.

See, everyone wins. Except the cow.
