001 - Back at the Burrow
I suppose I ought to have owled, but you should have seen the look on my mum's face when I turned up this morning unannounced. Felt late to me, but apparently I had forgotten the time difference and surprised her before she had a chance to get coffee on (which would be no big deal for anyone other than Molly Weasley. Word to the wise: do not rob this woman of the chance to be a good hostess).

I haven't lived at the Burrow since the week after I graduated Hogwarts, and have only been home for a few days at a time. Seems strange that I will be there until I can find a place I call my "own." How do I even go about doing that? In Romania, I built a cabin. Perhaps I could do that here? I'm sure mum would get a hoot out of a miniature cabin for her son to live in, just on the other side of the garden.

Speaking of, mum's none too thrilled about Păcală and Luana taking up residence with the owls.

I feel as if I have been out of the loop for so long. So, what's new, England?

Meaghan McCormack? Blimey, I wasn't expecting you to comment to my droll entry. I feel as if I haven't spoken to you since my third year at Hogwarts! That was ages ago! It seems we're all grown up now.

Congratulations on making finals! I can't decide who to root for between Pride and the Arrows!

I'm not sure how much wrestling I will be doing with the British dragons. It seems some sort of plague has been circulating amongst various breeds and for the past few years an alarming percentage of dragon-eggs have resulted in stillborn whelps. It's heartbreaking, so I am here to study the causes and try to help figure out what we can do to change the course of the future for all dragons. It would be devastating for them to become more endangered, and even face extinction.

You haven't been around to read my droll entries. Trust me, yours is bloody fascinating compared to my drivel. Plus, not everyday a dragon tamer comes back to the homeland. But yes! Grown up indeed. You were a third year when I left? Godric, now I feel even older than I am. Ahh well, was bound to happen.

Thanks! I'm nervous, but I have a good feeling. I'm to be captain next season when ours retires. Speaking of, we might be taking on your replacement as our new Seeker.

That's awful, but it sounds interesting! I can't even imagine...well, now that you're home, you'll have to come spend some time out. Us Gryffindor quidditch folk ought to stick together.

	What's Păcală and Luana? Are they dragons? Because I wouldn't be happy about dragons with owls either. They'd just eat them right up. (Reply to this) (Thread)

	No, no, they are not dragons. If I were to bring a dragon back to England with me, it would have been a hatchling, and lately there aren't any of those. Only five hatchlings have been born world wide in the past two years, which is an alarmingly low number. Păcală is a hawk, and Luana is a raven. I am training them to deliver post, much like owls do.
