I know that having a back up plan is a good idea. I get that. And I get that it takes years to make it through the adoption process, especially if you want a baby rather than an older child. But I guess I just feel that if we start now, it's jinxing the possibility of us having one of our own. Like .. I don't know, having a back up plan almost feels like we're giving up.
