Previous Entry  Add to memories!  Tell a Friend!  Next Entry
Greetings, my lovelies! It's so nice to be back again! First, I'd like to apologize for taking off so suddenly without a word to even my teams. I had to return home in order to assist my father in transitioning from this plane into the next. It was a very difficult time and, I will admit, I wasn't giving much thought to this place while I was away. I am glad, however, to have had the opportunity to spend the last several months of his life with him and ensure that he was as comfortable as possible in moving on. And now that that is done, I am ready to move forward with my life. I would just like to thank the FCU administration for being so understanding throughout all of this.

So, soccer ladies... I want to thank you for finishing out the season so strong. I am sure you are all enjoying a break from all of that right now, but I am definitely looking forward to rocking it out again next season.

Track ladies... I've had a chance to review what's been going on so far this season, and I want to thank you all for your hard work. I'm grateful to the other members of the coaching staff for stepping up to help you all out while I've been away and am looking forward to getting involves with you as soon as possible, thought I will be taking on more of an observatory role for the next little while.

Since fairly soon you're all going to be seeing me waddling around campus looking like I might have swallowed one of those soccer balls, so I'm just going to put this out there before that happens; Yes, I'm pregnant. I'm around 30 weeks along and due towards the latter part of July so.. Don't expect me to be terribly active even in my fitness classes. I appreciate your understanding when it comes to that in advance.

This brings me to my next point of interest for any Omegas who may be reading. I am looking for one or two of you who wouldn't mind being claimed who could help me out with things around the apartment, like cooking and cleaning and such, and would possibly be available for assisting during some of my classes or with some of my coaching duties, and maybe wouldn't feel terribly imposed upon if I were to ask you to go pick up some random item I'm craving from the store or maybe even rub my back or feet. If this sounds like anything that would be of interest to any of you, feel free to comment here or you can just email me if you'd like a dfairfax@fcu.edu. I could really use a bit of help now and possibly even after the baby is born.

So I do believe I have rambled enough for now. If you've made it this far, thanks for taking the time to read this. I appreciate it. Again, I am very glad to be back. These last few months have been very trying and I'm just glad to have something a bit more positive, like this place, to focus on.

Peanut butter isn't really necessarily bad, and you do have an excuse...

If you like, I can make a tester pie and bring it for you?

And I get the ones that are made with the raw, organic peanut butter. Not Reese's. So that helps, I think.

Yes, please. That would be amazing. It'll save me from having to order some less than outstanding delivery pizza. I have been on a train for days and am far too exhausted to cook.

My last class ends in about ten minutes (really should not be on my phone in here, but my professor accepts that I'm both ahead in his class and nonverbal....so that helps.) Factoring bake time it might be about an hour, possibly two at most. Do you want toppings or just cheese?

I should probably discourage that, but since it benefits me, I'm going to choose not to. lol.

If you have any type of toppings about that you'd like to toss on there, that's fine. If not, just cheese is okay too. I like almost anything on pizza other than, say, anchovies and jalapenos.

I generally have fresh veg in the house. Spinach and broccoli maybe...
