Onze

I'm in two minds now about whether I wish I was at home or not. And damn, that's really rather annoying.

Still, though, I just got an owl from home from my father, and clearly it's to my benefit to have parents who work in the civil service, because he spoke to someone in Games & Sports who told him when the tryouts for the French teams will start. As they are my priority, it will help me to prepare. He also has the dates for the Canadian teams, so that'll be helpful. I can afford to wait until the dates for the teams in Belgium, Switzerland, the UK and the US are released because obviously I'll have been practising for ages by that point.

It's a pity that most of the people who I could have practised Quidditch skills with have gone home, but I can still do something. I have my broom, so I can practice speed flying and dives. I thought of enchanting some Quaffles to fly from different parts of the ground in different directions and at different speeds, too. The only thing I haven't thought of yet is how to enchant Quaffles to fly at me from different heights, because of course, that will have a different effect to those coming from lower and nearer to the ground.

I will have to think about that.
