H I S T O R Y Jason's parents were married in 1978 and in January of 1980, Jason was born. His parents were married for three years, before they divorced. He lived with his mother, and she remarried when he was five years old. His step-father, Charlie Evans, was the father Jason never had. His biological dad wasn't around much, work was always getting in the way. Jason believed that work was just more important to his father than he was. Charlie is the one Jason chooses to call dad. Four years after his mother married Charlie, they gave him a little sister, Anabelle. When she was four she was kicked in the head by a cow and almost died. From that day on Jason knew he wanted to be a doctor, and so he worked as hard as he could to achieve his dream. He went to college and med school, ultimately leading him to his residency. About a year ago he met Samantha Astor, they hit it off great and have been an item pretty much ever since. She was pregnant when they met and he stuck by her throughout her pregnancy. He fell in love with her in just a short amount of time and grew to love her baby as his own. They now live together, he helps her care for her daughter, Kayleigh and on Valentine's Day he proposed and they are engaged to be married sometime within the next year.
