Memory 3 (Day 98, Game 67 - Trickster)Negative Neutral - Visiting Shiki at the hospital every week.What the title says. He gets snippet memories of his weekly visits at the hospital.
What he learns:
- Shiki's been in a coma for two years
- He's been visiting her every saturday without fail.
- His real name and how to write it because he does so on the hospital sign in sheet
- So much guilt and sadness and clinging to a hope.
What it means:
There's a lot of emotion undercurrents in this memory. He feels responsible for her coma somehow but he doesn't know why. He can feel that Shiki is very very important to him. Every visit is hard but he'll always bring her flowers and leave cards for her in case she wakes up to read them. His visits always last around two hours.
He has no idea if she ever woke up in the end.
Right now, he just believes that Shiki woke up in the end because she's here and she looks older than when he first saw her in a coma in the memory. Any other conclusion is too difficult to dwell on.

そう。九月の終わりから十一月七日である今日までのわずかな期間、秋は生き急ぐ競走
馬のように走り抜けた。
その間の僕はというと、十月の初めあたりから親戚が経営している自動車免許の教習所
に通っていた。この教習所は長野の田舎にある寮制の学校で、生徒を三週間ほど合宿させ
て一般の教習所の課程を手早く済ませてしまうというものだ。
一ヵ月近くこの街を離れる事に、僕は気乗りしなかった。けれど親戚の勧めは断れず、
職場の所長である橙子さんもこの合宿には賛成だ、という事で止むなく合宿に行く事にな
った。そうして教習所なんだか収容所なんだかワカラナイ三週間が終わって、僕は生まれ
育った街に帰ってきたわけである。
Basically, in October of 1998, Mikiya was recommended by his relatives to attend this driving school. Unable to reject them, he goes and spends almost a month there. It was almost like a boarding school type of thing and by the end of it Mikiya couldn't tell if it was a training center or a camp. :|aa He's just glad to be able to go home with his driver's license.
