I don't really want to update this thing. I never seem to want to. There's not a whole lot to say. Or, okay, that's a lie. I have stuff to say, I just .. can't say it.

So instead, I'll tell you a pointless fact. Today. I got my hair cut. And by cut, I mean gone.

Okay, um...what can't you say? I demand to know.

And where is the 'undo' button on this pointless fact? :P I'm kidding, of course.

Also, thank you for coming down last weekend. I loved having all of you here.

There's no undo button. I cut it every year. Why is everyone having such an issue with this?

As for the stuff I can't say? Let's see. Chase and I got in a huge fight about how long she'd be gone because I didn't know that a storm season was 6 months. We had sex against Jake's front door for the first time. Kind of forgot the protection. Chase told me she liked me. I responded like a complete idiot because she caught me off guard. Then I told her I liked her. And .. apparently now we're fighting again.

You did awesome at the concert, by the way. I had a blast. I should have brought Asher and Ami. Ami would have loved it.

I was teasing about the hair! As long as you haven't gone and put a big bright colored streak down the middle of your head, we're good. Otherwise, the kid, the dog, and I are coming to remedy this.

You...wow. I guess that's one way to prove a point. Not the fight, though apparently you two do that well. Although that seems like a lack of communication on your parts because you two seem to manage to tell me things but you can't seem to tell each other. Not that I mind.

Why are you two fighting now?

It's stupid. I got mad because she was joking around about something and .. I knew she was joking but she took it like I didn't know her well enough to know she jokes around. Or .. like I couldn't possibly like her if I couldn't handle her joking, being herself.

For future reference? If it bothers the girl, it's never stupid. Even if it is stupid, it's not. And yes, I know that makes absolutely no sense whatsoever, but if you really think about it, it does. And yes, one day you will realize that I'm a genius for letting you in on that little tip.

You two need to sit and talk and get it all out in the open and just see where things go. Do not make me quote you to yourself again. You know I'll do it!

Uhh. Thanks?

Sitting and talking is a lot easier to do when you're both in the same place at the same time. Or did you forget that she's in Seattle, working?

Sorry. I'm sort of wound-up. The kid and I are having a 'slumber party' in the living room. Milkshakes were involved. She, however, is a lightweight and is passed out with her dog on the blankets in the floor.

Um...that's what they have phones for, sweetheart. And email. And every possible communication tool under the sun. So that you can say what you need to say. And then when she comes back, you can hug her and kiss her and whatever else you need to do to get your point across. :P
