Oh, for the love of fuck.

Look, guys. Ha ha. It was funny. Now stop it. I need to get to Potions. NEWTs this year. Remember? Not that I need them for- But that's not the point Oh, bollocks

Where'd you find that scientist person, though? That was a pretty convincing set up.

It's practically middle-aged by Compound standards, I know. Have you figured out which world is yours?

I think it's the one with the big damn heroes. Guess that means we're from Firefly. Pity I didn't arrive with the proper costume.

Third war, yea? I think the majority of the cousins are from that one so you're in good company.

Yeah. I guess I got lucky on that account.

Mostly.

There's no war here, at least. No violence either thanks to a few enforced rules. And the war seems to end as well as any war can, really.

They have rules to keep war from breaking out here? At least it ends, but I doubt it's all that well even still.

They do– it varies by block but they're all enforced whether or not the scientist in charge of you knows your committing the act or not. There are quite a few opposing factions here; it helps keep everyone alive.

Sorry, I forget not everyone's been reading the history books. You should talk to Teddy about it.

Thank fuck because I am not about to get my fight on. I'm busy. Well, maybe not here, but busy.

It's alright. I'll talk to him soon enough, I'd wager. If he's here. He'll see my Freddie beacon.

There's decidedly less to keep you busy here.

He's here. So's Victoire and their kids and really I wasn't lying when I said the cousins are almost all from your world. No Potter cousins from your world, but Albus and Lila are from color and Jane is from genderswap. Then there are the cousins you don't even know because they don't exist in your world, or mine.

I'm gathering. Maybe I'll start a line of Fred Weasley products to entertain myself.

Well, that sounds a bit crazy. I can't tell if more of us is a good thing or a bad thing.

Sounds like as good of an idea as any!

Please, like we're not amazing.

I thought so as well!

We get a little crazy in large numbers.

I'd caution you against destroying too much but frankly at this point, go for it.

Do we come in anything but? Except for the smaller family units. Still, I'm very fond of us even if I'm technically not a Weasley anymore.

Destroying? What do you take me for? A conjurer of cheap tricks? My name is Fred, not Roxaaannnnnneeee. I hope you follow where that's going.

I don't know, really. Not a Weasley anymore? I don't think you ever stop.

I am picking up what you're putting down, yes.

It's only a technicality, of course, but I'm a Black in name now.

Oh, good.

A Black? Which Black did you marry?

His name is James, as far as I've researched he doesn't exist in other worlds, because in other worlds his father, Sirius, dies much younger. Well, dies and stays dead. Mine's the one where muggleborns and Sirius regenerate.

Sirius Black? Bloody hell.

That's [...] I'm not trying to be rude or anything about your husband (which is weird, yeah? You're married) but that's weird.

It's more weird for you that I'm married than it is for me; I wasn't twelve a few hours ago for me. He's here [ ... ] somewhere.

The regenerating thing is a bit strange to outsiders, but there are a lot of people from my world here. Mum's here, though she's a bit older than you'll be expecting her. And people I imagine you've only heard of in stories, if at all. Sirius, Ted Tonks, Colin Creevey.

I guess so, yeah.

I can imagine it might be. So what? They're like that uh [...] the bowtie man Doctor bloke? Older than I expect? I've heard of Sirius. I don't know if I've heard of Ted Tonks or not. Maybe.

I guess so? I'm not familiar with the reference. Mum's [ ... ] four hundred. And Ted and Colin both died (and stayed dead) in the second war, in most histories I've read at least. Colin was one of Uncle Harry's friends, and Ted was Teddy's grandfather.
