Sirius was pouting. He didn't like shopping and Evans was making him go get books and things he didn't want to purchase. Normally he'd owl in an order and be done with it. But nom not with her. This was cruel and unusual punishment, for which he likely deserved. He let out a long sigh as he stared around Diagon Alley. Maybe he could run away? No, Lily wouldn't like that and she was good at snogging and he liked snogging her so he stayed put.

"Evans, I'm bored. Can we go now? Please?" Sirius pleaded with her. He wanted to be back at the castle hiding in his room; not shopping. Anything but shopping.

	"Don't get mad at me for not understanding your bloody questions! Ask me directly; don't play these bloody word games," Sirius shot back to her, narrowing his eyes. Too late, she was mad, and it showed. Even her hair looked a bit brighter as she glared at him. "I just wanted to know," she began slowly, each word dripping with venom, "how much I ought to hex you if I caught you snogging other girls." The anger dissolved, seemingly out of thin air and she sighed, frowning and looking down at his ice cream, "I hope I don't though, whatever that might mean."

	"I never get caught," Sirius said with a shrug. Perhaps he should have stopped talking before then. Maybe he had too much practice with that fine art. He wasn't sure. He didn't want to do that to Lily though. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Sirius got up and followed her, "Evans, stop. Where are you going?" He sounded a bit exasperated. He could never keep up with female emotions. He wasn't going to lie and say he was joking; he was truthful, maybe he should curb it some. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	She acknowledged that she heard him in that she lifted her hand and made a gesture very unfitting of Head Girl. Maybe, maybe she slowed her pace a little bit, but she was angry, and she wasn't exactly sure why exactly. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	She was less angry now, although no less confused about anything, her shoulders slumping slightly.
