PERSONALITY LYRIC LYRIC LYRIC LYRIC LYRIC LYRIC There are two sides to every coin. There are no better words to describe Adrian Pucey. Those who know him, see only the one side. That side is charming, easily disarming you with a simple, playful smirk and a mischievous glint in his eye. That side is also charismatic, lulling you into a sense of security, and entwining you with pretty words, that pull at the soul and mind. And of course, one cannot forget intelligent. Unlike many of his brutish counterparts in his younger years at school, Adrian was always clever and quick, earning decent marks on his schoolwork, and furthering that education into his present life. He stays up to date on political matters, and is happy to engage in healthy debate. He's no stranger to getting his hands just the slightest bit dirty, if someone is in need of a household fix. A jack of all trades, if you will, at least for the simpler things. He's also rather well read, and enjoys the finer arts of life, such as theater and the opera. On the outside, he maintains the perfect persona of well mannered, somewhat cheeky playboy. Of course, he is no stranger to a verbal argument, or even an all out brawl, but who wouldn't expect that of a strong willed young man? This is the side Adrian wants everyone to see. The side, that for the most part, is the dominant personality. The side that the public eye follows, adores. Furthermore, to cement such a wholesome and heart melting exterior, he is nothing, if not a doting father. All these things combined truly leave one with a positive impression of such a upstanding young man. But the other side of the coin takes a much darker turn. Beneath the surface, Adrian is anything but. He is a manipulative, power hungry bastard, who will do any unsavory thing to obtain the object he desires. Whether person or thing, Adrian lacks any principles when it comes to an end goal. He also harbors a very honed and well hidden murderous instinct. He is no stranger to charming groupies, who happily take them back to their homes, thinking they've scored a night with a handsome, fit Quidditch star. Instead they end up cold and dead in their beds, with no trace left as to how it happened. Broken necks, cut arteries, asphyxiation... He finds deep pleasure in all of these things, if only because of the rush of control and power that comes along with watch the life slowly drain out of someone's bright eyes. He rarely has emotion in regards to the things he does, or regret. Guilt is rarely another thing that registers for him. But he plays emotion so incredibly well. No one would ever look at him and think that he was as terrible of a person as he truly is. Adrian lusts for power and prestige, and will aid anyone who seems to be able to obtain it. Though his loyalty comes at a price, and he is not afraid to advise of that up front. He's no stranger to dark magic either to get what he wants. He will happily mold and morph the minds of the people around him using questionable spells to get what he wants. Whether it's altering memories, erasing parts of the mind all together, or simply torturing the mind... he is an absolute expert. He practices often on his victims. Hurting them - fucking with their minds so they completely forget - only to do it again and again. He likes to find breaking points... And when he does, they are no longer of use. LIKES: Women, Power, Control, Quidditch, Running, Beer, Flying, Fucking, Manipulation, Flying Horses, Dogs, Swimming DISLIKES: Lemon, Rejection, Muggles, Being late, Rudeness, Losing
BIOGRAPHY LYRICS LYRICS LYRICS LYRICS LYRICS LYRICS LYRICS Adrian wasn't born into the wealthiest family in the world, but they had enough to live a comfortable life and provide for their children. Their marriage itself hadn't been one out of love, but instead out of a smart match in pureblood society, and while some of those matches ended up disastrous, Aida and Killian seemed to find a common ground. Hell, some might argue they genuinely cared about each other. Which is why it was so odd that they were graced with a son like Adrian. He grew up in a household that provided him with the necessary emotional support, yet, he never quite managed to grasp emotions for himself. When his first dog died, Adrian seemed not to care. When his mother grew incredibly ill and nearly died, he went on with life as normal. When he was responsible for hurting another child, he didn't show typical remorse. His parents noticed, but they did their best to hide it. The last thing they needed was an abnormal child. So, after Adrian's first spark of magic at the age of eight, when he set an outside bird on fire for making too much noise, his father sat him down for a serious talk. It would be one of many, where Killian explained to Adrian that his responses to things were not normal, and while his parents still loved him, others would notice, and he would have a hard, if not impossible life. He was urged at a young age to pretend. It was a strange thing to hear from one's parents, being told that he needed to learn to mimic the responses of those around him, but even if Adrian didn't love his parents in the sense most children did, mostly because he wasn't quire sure what love was, he did respect them. From then on he did his best to model himself after those around him. When another child got in trouble for something, he observed how the would behave. How they would react to happy stimuli, or sad stimuli, and this carried on well into his Hogwarts years. He managed to hone a perfect outer persona. He was charming, smart, and had a great deal of friends. Somehow, he was rather popular, and the teachers didn't seem to mind him too terribly. There were a few that he had the inkling he wasn't fooling, but that didn't matter much, they didn't matter much. In his Third year, Adrian made Chaser on the Slytherin Quidditch team. It at least gave him something to occupy his time. Because he was quickly coming to learn when he wasn't busy, other urges began to come to the surface. And they weren't the normal teenage boy urges by a long shot, instead he found himself wondering what it would be like to strangle one of his classmates. To drown them. To slide a blade down their arms and watch as they bled out. He'd find himself staring longingly at girl's during class, and usually they took it as him showing interest. He was fine to let them believe this, it was easier than the alternative. And truly, his murderous urges weren't just directed towards women, but men too. For the time being though, women seemed like the easier targets. The summer before his sixth year, when rumors began cropping up of Voldemort's return were circulating after Harry Potter came back from the maze with Diggory's dead body, his... self control failed. He excused himself from his family home rather early, claiming he had a date, and found himself in a somewhat seedy pub scene several miles from his home. It didn't take too much effort on his part to catch the eye of a somewhat drunken muggle girl, and before long, he was headed back to her apartment. And while he wasn't a particular fan of muggle women, that didn't stop him from at least making her feel comfortable. Kissing, groping... they made their way to her bedroom where she removed her clothes and climbed on top of him. His hands went up around her neck... squeezing tight, and at first, she just thought it was a kink. But his grip grew tighter, and eventually, she began to struggle. She barely made any noise though... and he watched with fascination as her terrified eyes eventually began to lose all light. He watched blood vessels burst, her face turn red, her muscles begin to go limp until there was no life left in her. The fucking thrill was.... intoxicating. It took him hours to clean up though. It wasn't even messy, but he wanted to be sure no evidence was left before he exited her place and made his way home. For the next several days, he was on an absolute high, and when it wore off, he found himself wanting more. But his mind did warn him not to be overzealous, and he was intelligent enough to follow that instinct. Instead, he spent the next several years fucking with the memories of his classmates for his own personal entertainment, and honing the magical skills that he found would be the most useful later on in life. He finished school the year Dumbledore died, and while he supposed it should have been tragic, he didn't have any feelings on the matter. No, he was ready for the real world and to stretch his legs outside of the confines of Hogwarts. He immediately tried out for the Falmouth Falcons, his dream team, the second he could. He was taken on as a reserve, but oddly, one of the starting chasers decided out of the blue that he no longer wanted to play Quidditch and Adrian was offered to take his place. Such a wonderful twist of fate, right? He became one of the star Chasers, quickly gaining fame at the same rate as his Hogwarts rival as one of his Hogwarts rivals, and endorsement deals came pouring in. Between his salary on the team, and all of the extras, he was raking in a pretty penny. It was also an excellent opportunity for him to pick up people who no one in the world would miss, which was another wonderful perk of the job. It wasn't until the war really picked up that Quidditch came to a bit of a halt, much to Adrian's annoyance. But the game turnouts weren't all that great when tons of the fans were being imprisoned or hunted. He was relieved when the war was finally over, if only because life could finally return to normal, and his lucrative career would start being... well, lucrative again. When there were whispers not long after that of Lucius Malfoy and Rabastan Lestrange taking over the government, once again, Adrian was pretty passive, though he did show support for the two men. They were in his best interests, or at least, he figured they would be. Even when the article that advised of all the ministry changes came out, Adrian didn't see much of a problem with them, and quickly learned the ins and outs of the social programs if only for ammunition during debates. And while many fled, Adrian saw absolutely no bloody reason, and found them all to be utter morons. He watched then as unemployment dropped, life expectancy rose, and crime rates plummeted. How the moron rebels couldn't see this as being a good thing, he would never understand, but he tried not to dwell on it too terribly much. Instead, he focused on being a successful athlete and playboy while also happening to kill and maim the minds of people on the side. It was... business as usual for him. Adrian understood that as much as he craved the thrill of death, the delicious taste of power, that he could not risk losing everything he worked for. So, Adrian changed his focus. Rather than killing those who crossed his path, Adrian discovered that he was able to quench his desire for control and power in a different manner. Adrian began to find one woman at a time, one woman who could become the focus on his longing. He would follow her, memorize her every move before he would finally take her. Each woman was painstakingly chosen, the ones who would be missed too much would be spared death, but Adrian always left his mark. Those who had no value would be snatched, taken away and sacrificed to his evil ways. Life was perfect for Adrian. He had his career, he had his hobby. In order to ensure he was never suspected, Adrian ensured that his outer persona was perfectly crafted. He laughed with his friends, he dated, he went out for drinks. Adrian was considered a catch though he never seemed to settle down. His relationships all seemed to die out after a year or so. And he didn't seem to have any angry or jilted exes. They all sang his praises and each relationship managed to end on good terms. When Lucius Malfoy retreated into Tinworth, Adrian debated going with them. He could give into his deepest desires, but he found that he was starting to enjoy the persona he'd created. He didn't want to give it up just yet. And so, he remained behind. Politics didn't matter to him, but his own happiness did. He continued to play, continued to date, and eventually began to date Emilia Montgomery.
