I spoke with your mother this afternoon. Apparently your parents want to come for a visit from April 20 until their red eye back the 27th. When I say want I mean, they bought plane tickets and have booked a hotel, but she assured me they can entertain themselves and don't need out attention for their entire vacation.
Meanwhile my parents have been complaining about how relatively close we live and I don't ever see them.
Should we have a family dinner to get it over with? We can invite Jean and Scott.
We didn't have an engagement where all this awkward stuff was supposed to happen.
