Number one rule now on Lorna's never to do list? No matter how much you can't sleep, do NOT watch The Core.

All Paige and I got from following our leads was sore feet.

Jono's far too modest, we got craploads of stuff.

... ok, not all of it was relevant stuff, but that's for another day. I think we did good though.

Emphasis on crap, Theresa.

I think we did, too. There's always tomorrow.

I never fail to be surprised by the number of nutwigs in this city. Half the problem is fishing out the ones we're looking for out of all the others.

Maybe I should just wander around propositioning strippers. It's worked before.

How many times were you chased off by a big, bouncer named Bubba before it worked?

You hypnotized Bubba before the propositioning. Silly me.

You all can keep them. Saves us from tracking loonies in Texas.

There a mutant underground here? Maybe they'd trust me since I don't look like the rest of you.

... I'll refrain from making jokes about Texas. I'm sure you've heard them all already anyway.

And no. At least, if by "underground" you don't mean "wears lots of black and hangs out in starbucks complaining about how hard it is to live off their parents."

Everything's bigger in Texas - but that's common knowledge.

...It might be nice to give those people a good scare. Is it true there's a pitch that makes someone soil themselves?

That wasn't what I was hedging towards, but good enough.

Some poor security guard back when I was fifteen. Sure, it was amusing, but it didn't really do anything else useful, and the pitch isn't exact for everyone. So even if somehow I managed to get the sound broadcast around the world, I'd have to go through about fifteen minutes of variations in order to make everyone crap themselves.
