Flower Power. Greetings, fellow blossoms! [...]

You probably noticed it by now, but the flower petals scream if you step on them. Bloody hell, make it stop.

I need your help. Can you help me out with something?

[ Warded to the TonksesTHG ]

You were right. They will never understand. Never.

Yes, mum's the word. I didn't say anything.

They're not my favourite thing I've heard here thus far, I'll give you that. Why is it bad that the mice are gone?

Neither did I.

Certainly not mine, either. Oh, well... they reminded me of my husband, I suppose. Not to mention they were so sweet and friendly.

Mice and Peter? I can see that. He always was a bit twitchy and could fit through small holes.

In my world, you and Sirius and Peter and Remus are animagi. You can turn into animals. Peter turns into a rat. It's not the same as a mouse, of course, but it's close.

I've heard about that. We weren't able to where I'm from because of how expensive receiving a wand and formal training were, but we still had the same monikers. It's very interesting how that stayed constant.

I was not sure if it applied in your world or not, though I admit I'm not too surprised at the nicknames. Even when you all drove me mad, I had to admit that you had a way of getting things to go your way, and a very strong sense of purpose. Maybe your determination is a cross-world thing.

Of course we got things done; there was a reason we were called the Marauders. We were outlaws of sorts with our own agendas. You get a sense of power from deviating from the norm.

That sounds familiar. Only I imagine much more serious, in your world. In mine, 'deviating from the norm' mostly involved seeing how many Hogwarts rules they could break, or trying to set the record for detentions earned, or successful pranks. Or, as I once swore, 'how many times can we annoy Petunia in one week'.

How are you settling in, by the way?

That sounds about right, actually. Sirius and I were tied for the most detentions before [...] before he got reaped and I entered the Games the following year.

I'm settling in as best as could be expected, I imagine. Things are never simple.

I'm sorry, James. Did your Sirius... was he a 'victor'?

Nothing is ever simple, that is true. If there is anything I can help you with, please let me know. I find myself with a deplorable amount of free time these days.
