An idea that is not dangerous is unworthy of being called an idea at all.

[Daphne]
We will be leaving for the casino in an hour. Are you ready?

[Fletcher]
If this all goes to plan tonight, expect to have a hangover until next Wednesday.

How do you classify ideas for creative works then, Lady Longbottom? Some creative works can be controversial, but some are simply beautiful.

I was never professionally trained but all works stem from either a need to process or convey. Anything that's done for just the sake of beauty doesn't stand the test of time.

What I think she's getting at is that the best of ideas confront an aspect of society. Good ideas are wonderfully dangerous because they can't be killed.

I can't argue with the need to convey. I've had that since I was a child.

All creativity comes with an element of risk, Lady Astoria. You know that.

You are Lady Daphne's younger sister, correct?

That's true. For all of the time and energy that goes into the work, there are no guarantees that anyone will like it.

[Lady Longbottom]

That's correct.

AjaxLord Ajax is being a bore. I was hoping you'd help send him some holiday cheer. Maybe a house elf or twenty to sing him carols at his gym in Daigon. Whatever you'd think festive.

He'd be on my fantasy dinner guest list every night, Ms. Vance. Way ahead of his time, and he suffered for it.

[Ms. Vance]
And how are you adjusting to life back in Blighty?

That and he was an unapologetic homosexual; but you're right, far ahead of his time for all regards. Though he suffered for it, we still talk about him, quote him, because of it. He became more than a man thumbing his nose to a society, he became an idea.

[Madam Longbottom]
Like finding your favourite trousers from a decade's past and realizing it's a bit snug in the middle. They will settle right with time, I suppose. Blighty is still fucking Blighty, I've seen. Good people conditioned to find value in rubbish and bad people dictating the terms of living and their value.

Well, firstly we'll be minted. Millions of galleons in our disposable income pouch never hurts.

But more importantly, as soon as I get details of Tanaka's involvement in London, his business will be mine. I'm going to crush that little snake, and you know how I enjoy a tipple after destroying someone's livelihood and reputation.
