An idea that is not dangerous is unworthy of being called an idea at all.

[Daphne]
We will be leaving for the casino in an hour. Are you ready?

[Fletcher]
If this all goes to plan tonight, expect to have a hangover until next Wednesday.

How do you classify ideas for creative works then, Lady Longbottom? Some creative works can be controversial, but some are simply beautiful.

I was never professionally trained but all works stem from either a need to process or convey. Anything that's done for just the sake of beauty doesn't stand the test of time.

What I think she's getting at is that the best of ideas confront an aspect of society. Good ideas are wonderfully dangerous because they can't be killed.

I can't argue with the need to convey. I've had that since I was a child.

All creativity comes with an element of risk, Lady Astoria. You know that.

[Lady Astoria]
You are Lady Daphne's younger sister, correct?

That's true. For all of the time and energy that goes into the work, there are no guarantees that anyone will like it.

[Lady Longbottom]

That's correct.

Or they will like it, but for all the wrong reasons.

[Lady Astoria]
Well then, it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance. I'm looking forward to your musical in February.

Occasionally there are performances akin to a trainwreck.

[Lady Longbottom]

The pleasure is all mine. I think the family dynamics being explored in the musical will have a lot of appeal for people - noble and commoner alike.
