Yet another year coming to a close, but with hope and possibility for the future I believe. And this despite the Black family's, as Isidore put it, shenanigans. Fortunately for the family, there seems to be at least one slim possibility that the family might not destroy itself. Regulus surprised me with his foresight and his sensibility in this matter. But then, I suppose that becoming the head of the family forces a certain maturity and responsibility that you cannot know until you have been given that responsibility.

And then of course, there is the matter of the shield. I am flattered that the Dark Lord considers me a worthy guard of the object and it should be safe within my vault. I will check on it again tomorrow, but in the meantime, I hope that I can be worthy of his trust in this matter.

And I have sent an invitation to Mother and Laelia for Christmas dinner. Will any of your family be joining us as well?

	I did, they were all very nice and polite the entire evening. Though I'm sure you would like me to be more specific than that. Tristan Rosier was very kind to me and I did enjoy my time with him. As I did with Anselm Mulciber, he is closer to my age if I remember correctly but he is agreeable. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
