[Warded to Mina]

I find I require intelligent, rational, and logical conversation this week. I do not suppose you would be available?

[Warded Private]
I must remember that patience is a virtue. That until our world is reinvented that there will be those who are hypocritical. Those who preach what they do not practise, and those that will make my head hurt. This is not unusual, and it is not something that should surprise me -- as much as it irritates me.

I do wonder at the self-righteous attitude displayed by those who are clearly among the ones that oppose us. Do they see their own hypocrisies?

It is time to move forward with taking out some of these most likely to stand against us.

[Warded to the Inner Circle]
What have we discovered about our vigilantes?

Additionally, I wonder if it is not time to set those we deem capable of subtleties onto finding more about some specific Aurors or hitwizards. Which brings me to the question - have we determined which we should remove first?

Violence seems to be the trend of the new year and it is something that saddens me deeply; thus I wish to extend my deepest condolences to those who have been effected by its far reaching hands, and encourage them to strive for a world that holds far less of that violence.

And yet, I feel that as a scholar of history I must remind everyone that each time has its own difficulties. Time tends to colour our vision - to give us a sense that our own time is worse than every time past - and yet, a trip through the old issues of the Daily Prophet at Brookstanton reminds us that there have frequently been halfbre werewolf attacks, that at times it has been disagreements between the Muggle and the Magical, at other times disagreements between magical and magical, or between other creatures and Wizards -- Professor Binn's essays on the Goblin Rebellion almost certainly spring to mind -- and many are old enough to remember the war with Grindlewald; Our headlines are not so unique as it is easy to think that they are.

In my studies abroad I also became aware that such things are not unique to Britain. It was when I was in Morocco studying the local history from a historical master of the region that I think I first became truly aware of this. Situations and conflicts that I had always thought of as unique to our country were peppered throughout the history of theirs leading me to a greater understanding that the issues facing of those of Magical bir ability are not so very different after all.

What does this mean for those of us who live today? I do not think it lessens the impact of the attacks or the violence, but perhaps there are lessons to be drawn from the past: Perhaps that past might guide our future.

Or perhaps, I spend too much time with my nose in my books.

I am weary of thinking that a reminder is needed, but it is perhaps. At any rate, we can move no further on the vigilantes without further information. Did you see Meadowes comments earlier however?

Yes. And McKinnon certainly seems a good idea -- Although getting to him may be a difficult task. Perhaps if we knew his schedule, if he has any specific routines? On the other hand, he also has a family and they might be possibilities.

Bones is a frustration, but Barty's incarnation was entirely his fault and Merlin help me if any other of the Outer Circle follow in his steps, I shall ensure they regret doing so regardless of whether the Aurors pick up on it or not. I do like the idea of Scrimgeour and Robards, however. Dobbs is taken care of, but he was a side story and an opportunity to remind the journalistic establishment that they ought to be more cautious before reporting lies.

What do we know about Scrimgeour and Robards?

I would have thought not myself but I am reminded that seeking information on a person in a subtle manner is not always an easy or quick task. We may allow them a small amount of leeway in this matter though I would not like to see it repeated with more urgent tasks. I did. Such childish notions that the world is black and white are to be expected from fools such as her but I believe she was not on our list, am I correct? I feel she should now be on it.

And here is where Barty's idiocy bites at us. He was in an ideal position to be able to answer that question. Perhaps it is as well that he is in prison where we cannot get to him. We may have more luck targetting his family.

I know very little I confess. Neither seem to journal too publically though there does seem to have been some sort of recent disagreement between Scrimgeour and Sturgis Podmore, possibly not a serious one given that some of the women were promoting some disgusting suggestions regarding the two of them.

Perhaps the reminder needs to be accompanied by something that will help instruct as well as remind?

She was on the list, I believe, as she was at the Library incident with the Prewetts - although Caracatus had the list in full, I believe. Certainly she should be on it. I suppose the dehumanization of the 'enemy' is hardly a new idea.

Let us find out something about the McKinnon's as a family.

Let's find out something about both of them. Whether we can get to them or not, a reminder to their family that we can get to those people that we care about is not likely to go unheeded.

They have had their two weeks and I have yet to receive one report from any of them. I admit myself to being somewhat disappointed. And by all means, Isidore, speak with them; I have no issue there. As for Meadowes, she was indeed on our list and now, certainly, it's evident that she is brainless and wishes to draw as much attention to herself as possible by broadcasting for everyone and their Grandmother to read. One would think that, after such an incident as was the library, she would take more care.

Regarding McKinnon, I agree with Isidore and I suggest that, should we not be able to find a route directly to him, we target his children.

And perhaps Robards and Scrimgeour are indeed a good point to make. Podmore's sister seems to want Scrimgeour alive, however obnoxiously.

Is it just me or is it odd that Podmore's sister might want Scrimgeour alive? Not to get wildly off topic or anything...

Perhaps they're involved, romantically.

I could be facetious and simply say that there is no accounting for taste but you do have a point. Is there something between the two? Friendship or something more? Or was she simply teasing her brother?

Ah, Honoria has mentioned seeing a picture in the Prophet of Gawain Robards and Nora Alderton together. The Alderton woman plays Quidditch, does she not? How unseemly That puts her in the public eye and therefore within reach.

Occasionally I feel as if we are a set of gossiping old ladies.

Either way I think it is safe to conclude that Podmore's sister is friends with Scrimgeour.

Alderton, you say? I believe she does play Quidditch, yes. Rather loud and opinionated if I recall and not a thing like her sister
