Potter, Prewett, Bones, Scrimgeour and Moody have been thorns in our sides long enough. I am open to any and all, preferably successful ways to take care of these mouthpieces.

Rodolphus and Lucius, the Dark Lord has considered the matter and while I am certain he will tell you himself at some point this week, I wished to inform you that from this point on you have his attention and ear whenever you have need of it.

Laelia has spoken to me about having the Rosiers over and I told her that a small dinner between our two families would certainly be suitable. She and Tristan ought to have the chance to speak some together despite the unfortunate circumstances that has overshadowed this arrangement. I told her that she should work with you -- perhaps you might even give her the opportunity to make some of the decisions regarding the menu and settings? You always do so well that I know she would appreciate her guidance, but it would be lovely for her to have the opportunity to practice further before she is the mistress of her own household.

And if have you not already been in your study, do check your desk when you go in there.

I am meeting with our Lord tonight. As per our conversation earlier in the week, I shall be bringing some names to his attention.

I believe it is also worth noting that young Mr Black has taken it upon himself to cut off his engagement with Miss Lestrange. His reasoning is that he wishes to devote more of himself to th cause. As such, I have increased our training sessions. I am certain that eventually this information will become public -- until then, your discretion, gentlemen.

Always so self-righteous, aren't we? And yet, if they were not given the rights to use unforgivables, perhaps young Evan Rosier would still be among our number. His death, and the death of Caracatus, have been avenged, and yet the loss is still felt.

Tie their hands, Wizengamot: Tie them up in paperwork and bureaucracy and ineffectiveness.

We have no such limitations. We will win this war yet.

Outside of the loss of a dear friend we have also lost a colleague this month. It strikes me that, pending the Dark Lord's approval, the movement of some of the more experienced and devoted of our outer circle might benefit us all at this time.

Young Rodolphus Lestrange is now the head of his family. His wife is a talented and forceful woman, and he will be taking his father's place in other areas as well. I suspect he would prove a beneficial member of our Inner Circle. Other names that have come to my mind are those of Augustus and Lucius. Both have proven themselves capable of gathering information and of leadership during these past difficult months.

I do not necessarily foresee all of them moving into the Inner Circle, and the Dark Lord will no doubt have thoughts on the matter as well, but Caracatus has reminded us that even with our experience those we fight may get lucky upon occasion. I do not wish for us to leave those talented among the next generation struggling should something happen to one or more of us.

After we settle this matter with the Dark Lord, I would suspect we will need to rearrange our mentoring system a bit as well.

My wife has sent our condolences, but I wish to personally provide my own. He was a good man, strong in our cause, and I counted it a privilege to work beside him. He will be greatly missed.

This must not be allowed to stand.

Caracatus Lestrange has murdered by the DMLE. Isidore Mulciber is informing the family of the loss. This is a great loss and you may rest assured that it will not be allowed to stand and that we will have retribution.

In the meantime, please honour his memory by maintaining your trust in the Dark Lord and waiting for instructions along those lines.

He was a stronger man than I was. Perhaps even more firm in his beliefs than I am, and the cause will feel his loss. I will feel his loss. I feel as if any eloquence has left my quill at this moment: Everything is harsh edges and words.

This should not have happened.

I have done some work on beginning stages of content for our curriculum. It is my believe that the stages would be best split, similarly to how they are at Hogwarts.

Years 1 & 2 Ages 5-7
Years 3 - 6 Ages 7-11

During years 1 & 2 the following compulsory studies would be attended by every student of the school.

Compulsory Studies: Writing & Reading, Numbers & Figures, Geography, History of Magical Peoples, Art (Practical), Music (Practical), Citizenship, and Physical Education

During Years 3 - 6 the compulsory studies mentioned above would taught with some additional changes, and optional course studies that would be included.

In addition to the compulsory studies Modern Foreign Languages (French, Italian, German come to mind as possibilities), Ancient Languages (Latin, Gaelic, Greek), Origins of Magic (Cultural studies for England, and as they grow older, other countries as well), and Personal, Social, and Health Studies.

In both art and music, for Years 3 - 6, there would be a practical element, but an added appreciation element. At all levels, instruction in writing & reading would be primarily in English, but would also be available in Welsh for our witches and wizards with Welsh backgrounds who wish their children to learn such.

The specific details of what would be taught at each individual level will come later, and obviously there is no practical magic instruction as that begins at Hogwarts at the age of eleven. And some children - particularly in years 1 & 2 - may not have even shown signs of magic just yet.

I believe we are ready for input at this time, and so thoughts?

Lucius has been gathering information on an upcoming Wizengamot discussion, and I believe he has enough that it is possible to share it at this time.

A few days ago I set Lucius on the task of completing some of the work that he and Augustus have begun. He reported back to me today, and during tonight's training session brought forward all of the information that he has been able to gather. There is enough that I believe we could begin taking further actions.

We have the address of Emily Prewett's parents. They live in a semi-detatched home, so it would need to be done with care, but I am wondering if they might not have further information regarding their daughter that they could give to us.

If we are in agreement, I believe we should move through the rest of these aurors as swiftly as possible. They have too long continued to live with the notion that their actions and defiance against the Dark Lord go unnoticed.

Have we heard anything specific regarding the state of either of the Bones? they did not look very good, but that does not mean - unfortunately - that they will not survive.

I wish to know where that man goes, what cases he is on, who his friends are, what his strengths and weaknesses are, what his favourite colour is - in other words I want to know everything there possibly is to know or be discovered about this auror.

This week I should like you to take a look at your Father's library and bring with you any pertinent books on wards, both building and breaking.

Considering the favourite round I hear against the Death Eaters is that we paint Muggleborns and Muggles with one brush, we look down on those who are not like us, etc, I am finding this newest trend of journal entries quite fascinating and rather hypocritical - at best. If you are truly espousing a world where everyone must be created and therefore treated equally, then that does mean everyone, not merely the people who agree with you, or applaud your self-important tirades. Thus, they undo their own arguments with their own brush, and I find myself unimpressed and yet, unsurprised.

Townsley - it seems her husband is the hitwizard Podmore. Perhaps that family ought to be moved up in our list as well.

Additionally, I tire of talk. We hit McKinnon and Robards through the Quidditch match. And as Bones has encouraged this impromptu round of 'here is my story of how I am so jealous of everyone who has not made my poor choices and yet has a better life than I do' I believe it is time to cease mere discussion and begin movement.

I want to know where that man goes, I want to know who his friends are, what his strengths are and what his weaknesses are, I want to know how many times he uses the toilet during the day.

Am I completely alone in feeling that it is time something be done?

I suppose it is time to ensure that every alibi is air tight.

We have the potential for a serious problem. The largest of which is that Barty is aware of names. I should like to think that the young man is serious in his devotion to the Dark Lod and his cause, and I have, I confess, never been given reason to suspect otherwise, but I believe if we are to be safe, we must assume that he may be cracked.

Outside of names, he knows that we were monitoring the senior Aurors and DMLE - and of course anything that has been spoken of outside of Inner Circle wards.

I believe Caracatus is correct that we can do little more than monitor the situation, but I wonder if we ought not say something to the ranks as Augustus warded to them all. I should hate to see one of them do something stupid, out of fear or uncertainty.

In the meantime, I suggest that we tighten how we give orders to our Outer Circle. In other words, they know only what they need to know - we trust our own devotion to the dark Lord, yes, but there are some among our outer ranks that I would not trust so willingly. If the know only what they are involved with, they can share less, should it come to it.

I also, more than ever, should like to see Bones brought to his knees. And perhaps Longbottom too, while we are at it.
