May I turn your prettily decorated ear on a topic of less romantic value and of a more intellectual nature?
How are you feeling ma cherie? Is there anything that you need?
I will be away again this coming Saturday night. I have managed to procure an interview with an individual who had provided an Oral History to the Museum of Quidditch. I will likely be a bit later on Sunday as I will spend as much time with them as I can. As I will need to portkey to Paris for this, if there is anything you would like for me to bring back for you or for our daughters, please let me know as soon as possible.
I will see you tonight. I will be a bit late finishing up some research, but I promise I will not be too late.
How do you feel about Reykjavík?
Do you have an escort for the Masquerade, young Lestrange?
1. -Check Journal of Wizarding History for article by Stockhex, J.
2. Find references for "Wizards during this time found it could be dangerous to associate with Muggles", et al - check Ludwiffe - You've seen it somewhere in the past two weeks.
3. Find notes from looking at Killjoy's journals c. 1645 - Don't want to bother Brookstanton with that again at the moment - assuming the journals even survivedBellatrix's temperthe mudbloods & blood traitors.
What can you tell me about the DMLE's activities on the night of the Masquerade?
There are six of us. We must each be willing to take on the Outer Circle at this point in time. Each one of them should have an Inner Circle mentor that they are responsible to. In most cases these decisions are clear cut - the person who brought them into the fold is likely the person they would begin with, but there may be some cases where that is not the most beneficial to his plan.
I will begin with who has brought them in and then the Inner Circle will meet and we will make final selections. Hopefully by the end of the week we can announce the pairings to the Outer Circle.
I know I would like for any under my care to train thoroughly for the rest of the month if we are to be fighting at the Masquerade.
Are you free this coming Friday evening?
An absolute waste. The only thing that can be said for the situation is that at least she did not marry a flat out Muggle. Still, there is absolutely no one to care whether a Muggleborn family line continues - and yet the Nott family line continues without an heir. Too many pureblood Wizarding family names die out and mine will not be among them. But if Lucia cannot give me a son I do not know what the answer is.
My father would consider me a failure, but it has not been for lack of the attemptalthough that would make no difference to himalthough that does not solve the problem at hand.
The Library being closed is going to put a stop in my research for a bit - perhaps I should look at the preliminary material for the next book. I hate to do that, but without access to certain collections - assuming they were not obliterated in the Lestranges' haste to destroy everything not related to the shield - it will be difficult to continue working on my current project. Thus, it makes sense to begin briefly on the next.
And Lucius' thoughts are good. I believe he will be pleased by the ideas.
We wear our masks for a reason. The day will come when we will be able to state our goals and missions publicly. When He is triumphant and our world is a place of peace, purity and prosperity.
In the meantime, discretion is essential. We do not wish the entirety of the Wizarding World knowing our identities, but more importantly, we do not wish the DMLE who consider us a threat to their power knowing our identities. When you are given a mission for the Dark Lord, you are to carry it out well and accurately, yes, but you are also to leave only the marks he wishes to have left. If you cannot accomplish this, or if your identities are in some way compromised that will be noted.
Any questions?
