Have you seen them since we last spoke about it? Had any further thoughts about what's going on? Danced for them naked? You know, updates. Although, I'd rather not know if the latter is true. Or maybe I would because it would be quite funny...? I think? No. I don't know. I'm as confused as you are.

Oh, so it's a he? If it's gone on for a while, then clearly they like having you around. And you don't just invite a fuckbuddy to a beach in France, that's far too romantic - you wouldn't want them getting the wrong idea. So, with that in mind, maybe this was his way of telling you he likes you?

And I'm always proud when my friends act like dicks, reminds me why we became friends in the first place.

What was he upset about? He finds you a comfort, which means he likes you. When I was upset after Dad died, I only wanted to see people I loved or cared about. I couldn't deal with anyone else.

Just ask him how he feels. You don't have to give anything away.

It might give it away, depends on how you do it. But really, what's the worse that could happen?

Try an experiment. Get really drunk with us on Saturday, and you and I can have this conversation on the smoking deck or something - away from the others. Alcohol always reveals the truth of how you feel. For better or for worse. Just don't throw up on me, or start getting overly emotional and shit. I may burst into flame.

I don't know, the panic in Tom's eyes as I picked one up...perhaps it's something horrible. Like his ex-lover's head. Although the thought of him in any sort of romantic liason is far worse than a severed head.

No. I expect his parents and mine will be choosing that. The contract says it has to happen after February on account of my musical. I would like to delay it by several years. Oberon would probably say "never" would be a good wedding date. Lord and Lady Lestrange probably want to secure their line of succession as soon as possible. I'm hoping for something no earlier than next October.
