Oh, so it's a he? If it's gone on for a while, then clearly they like having you around. And you don't just invite a fuckbuddy to a beach in France, that's far too romantic - you wouldn't want them getting the wrong idea. So, with that in mind, maybe this was his way of telling you he likes you?

And I'm always proud when my friends act like dicks, reminds me why we became friends in the first place.

It might give it away, depends on how you do it. But really, what's the worse that could happen?

Try an experiment. Get really drunk with us on Saturday, and you and I can have this conversation on the smoking deck or something - away from the others. Alcohol always reveals the truth of how you feel. For better or for worse. Just don't throw up on me, or start getting overly emotional and shit. I may burst into flame.
