You know I gave my mother full Head of House responsibilities and all the power and shit? Because I have exams and a life and I don't know (or care) about any of that political shit.

She's signed a fucking contract with Lestrange. In my name - because I stupidly gave her permission to use my name. As my mother, I trusted her not to fuck me over, and this is why I hate Court politics.

Well that is some grade O bullshit. She knows you don't know or care about politics and then sets you up to marry the heir to a major house? Especially in this political climate, and with Oberon's usual tact levels being about on par with those of a blast ended skrewt. All the political work would fall on you. And that's not even touching on you already being in a committed relationship.

What are you going to do?

My head is just [...] I don't need this shit right now. I have exams, exams I can't wait to sit because I can focus on something I actually want. And I hate exams. Oberon hasn't said much to me about it, but he's obviously going to be an arse. As you said, that boy needs medical help not a wife.

They have it all figured out, too. My first child will be a Lestrange, the second a Parkinson, the third a Lestrange...and so on. Like my uterus is some fucking -- whatever. I don't even want children. My mother is positively giddy -- I swear if she even thinks the word 'scrapbook' I'll kill her myself.

I don't know. Adrian's going to flip out. He's going to say something and piss them off. He's right to say something, of course, but they're all fucking snakes -- well, except Cygnus maybe.

	You need to become Head of House again. If you become Head of House, you can declare the contract null and void because it was written up without your consent. You can make the legal argument that you were entrusting your day to day affairs to your mother, not your marital status. (Reply to this) (Parent)
