I can't tell you where I got the information, but Al's in Azkaban until the 19th for curfew violations. I think that, since we're not supposed to even know that much, it's best that we keep it to ourselves for now. We're going to have to keep a better watch on her when she gets out.

This might be going beyond your professional bounds as an Auror, but if somebody were to hypothetically disappear, and if that hypothetical person happened to be a marked ST, is there any possibility that the DMLE had something to do with it? Hypothetically, I mean, I might not actually be asking this question. Except that I need to know the answer.

In one week, I've not only sold three crups, a couple of rats, and a handful of kneazle kittens, but I've also collected four floo addresses. Believe it or not, there are benefits to working at the Magical Menagerie. Still miss my dragons quite a bit, though.

Matilde, one of my first Horntail hatchlings, hatched her first brood early this morning. It sort of makes me feel a bit old, but at the same time, I'm thanking my lucky stars that I've not got a brood of my own to worry about. Not that kids aren't awesome, far from it, but it's not like they sneeze fire. That's awesome in my book.
Plus, lugging a bunch of brats around the beach last week would've put a bit of a damper on my fun.
