“Oh god, are you trying to fucking kill me,” Reid groaned after coming for the third time that night.

Luke Snyder may have been a novice in the sex department when they first got together but what he lacked in experience he more than made up for with natural talent and the kind of enthusiasm that saw Dr. Reid Oliver get laid more times in a single month than he had in the previous five years combined.

Luke grinned, looking entirely too pleased with himself. Not that he didn’t have good reason to be. “That was one hell of a blowjob,” Reid told him. After all, good behavior should be acknowledged.

“Duh,” Luke rolled his eyes.

“You’re getting cocky, Mr. Snyder.”

“I love getting cock, Dr. Oliver,” he replied with a flirty blink.

“And lucky for you, I have plenty on hand,” Reid said, cupping his cock.

“Hold that thought,” Luke said, scrambling out of bed.

“Hey, where are you going?” Reid sat up.

“Ice cream,” Luke shouted back from the kitchen.

“God, I love you,” Reid said when Luke came back with a container of chocolate ice cream and a spoon.

Luke grinned and dug out a huge spoonful of ice cream. “Just for that, you get the first taste,” Luke said, shoving it into Reid’s mouth and laughing when it didn’t all quite fit.

“Tsk tsk,” Luke said, “I know your mouth can open wider than that.”

Reid scowled as best as he could with a full mouth and ice cream dripping down his chin.

Luke grinned then leaned in to lick up the drip before taking a spoonful for himself. He lifted Reid’s arm up and put it around his shoulders, settling in against his side.

“So,” Luke said between mouthfuls. “Katherine told me the hospital fundraiser’s a week from Friday.”

Reid groaned. “I really need to fire that woman.”

“Oh please, you’d be lost without her.”

“I survived my whole life without an assistant before her.”

“Yeah, but you weren’t the chief of the best neuro facility in the country before you moved to this beautiful town of ours and met the love of your life,” Luke smiled sweetly.

“Don’t make me vomit when I’m eating ice cream.”

“I know you hate these things but it’s part of your job to go and make nice with the investors. And don’t worry about me; I’m always happy to be your date. No matter what.”

Reid frowned at the reminder of the incident at last year’s event involving drunk’s gift to old and fat and the use of the words ‘goddamn faggots.’ Luke had been upset but tried to pretend he wasn’t and they’d gotten through the night as best as they could. But Reid wasn’t in a hurry to repeat the experience if he could help it. Anyway, he hated those fucking events. He’d rather be in the operating room any day.

“I can handle assholes like that, but you shouldn’t have to, Luke.”

“Reid,” Luke said, shaking his head. “I don’t give a fuck what anyone says, not anymore.”

Reid looked skeptical.

“I’m stronger now, you know that,” Luke said. “Thanks to you.”

Reid shook his head. “It’s all you, Luke.”

“I am so proud to be with you,” Luke said with that utter sincerity of his that always made Reid’s stomach flutter. They stared at each other a moment, Reid finally relenting.

“Well, I’d say dust off your tux but it never has a chance to get dusty, does it.”

Luke grinned and smacked a quick kiss against Reid’s mouth but Reid had other ideas, drawing him back for more. Luke’s mouth was cold and tasted like chocolate and Reid couldn’t get enough of it, kissing him deep and wet.

Luke finally pulled away with a dreamy sigh, rubbing his nose against Reid’s. “It’ll be fun,” he said, causing Reid to snort.

“Okay it won’t be fun. But you can blow me in the men’s room again. That’ll be fun. And I promise to be quieter this time.”

“Yeah that’ll happen,” Reid said. “You’re never quiet.”

“Well,” Luke said, putting the ice cream container on the bedside table and pulling Reid down on top of him. “Let’s practice.”
