But yes, we could say that Rocket's all but ignored Gretel's offered handshake and offered his own, because he'd want to be the one who's 'made it official', if that makes sense. 	Cool. I forget the food situation in the town? Would they find some? Have to hunt it? Not a problem either way. The longer Gretel goes without finding Hansel, the more tense/agitated she'll get. She'd eventually tell him about their lives and their times, and how she's never been apart from him. She may get to the point where she'd want to look further away. Expect a tag soon; lunch has been had, and RL distractions have fucked off for the time being!

There will be food in town; various places are self-replenishing, so if any character is comfortable with eating magic!food, they won't need to go hunting.

Gretel's free to do what she wants, according to Rocket: so long as she doesn't drag him into some trouble that they can't easily escape. But he'd consider it a challenge.

	Gretel is VERY MUCH against eating magic!food. Especially candy. She's happy to do most of the hunting, since it will keep her mind occupied. She'd also reiterate that she's not dragging him anywhere. He can come if he wants, and by that point (a few days of 'bonding') would prefer not to be alone, but she can't just sit and wait. 	Hahaha, I just had a vision of her realizing it's probably uncomfortable for him the first night she brings back a rabbit or something. The following ones, she'd stick to foraged nuts, roots, berries, and mushrooms. Because she's actually a softie. How did you want to continue with this thread? 	If the MCU kept Rocket's comic book origin!story, he'd definitely have a what-the-fuck reaction if Gretel brought back a rabbit! We could end the thread as is, and continue with a sequel!thread as a new ..thread, what with the time jump.
