001; 11 September 1979.
Unity in these troubled times is certainly important and I applaud the Ministry for having the foresight to see such and encourage it.

[Warded Private]

There are at least two pieces of research yet missing. I have tracked all of the rest, but these two are proving illusive. Yet they are essential to the statements that I am making and I refuse to use poor research merely to prove a point. There are many who would argue that mixing with Muggles is no danger to the witch or wizard and if I counter-argue with less than stellar factual evidence to the contrary they will simply have more ammunition. It is my duty to our society and to my Lord that the evidence is incontrovertible.

At least so much as it can be when dealing with the science of individuals each of which are full of inconsistencies and contradictions. Still, with patience and the review of research done over time, one can find patterns and one exception does not break the rule.

[Warded to Death Eaters]
It is my thought that after our engagement at the first of the month that many have seen their weaknesses in battle and places for improvement. The only way to properly improve is to allow opportunity for practice and such must be undertaken regularly for it to be sufficiently useful.

To this end I will be opening the gardens at Nott Manor for such opportunities to spar with your fellow patriots and generally improve yourselves. The hours for such are Saturday afternoon from 15:00-18:00, Monday & Thursday evenings 20:00-23:00.

I expect to see every one of the outer circle in attendance at least one of these evenings and I do not wish to see excuses for why you cannot attend. You have given yourself to the tasks the Dark Lord has set in front of you.

I will gladly offer some guidance and assistance to the first few who respond to this and request such guidance. Please acknowledge that you have read this and note times you will be in attendance.

Aha, a challenge! And my reward is a dance with you?

Accepted, Miss Lestrange. I will find you and request a dance. The only question is whether or not you will know it is me.

Of course it is!

I will know you by the sound of your voice, I've heard you talk with Father and my brothers l unless you modify it somehow. But that will be cheating and so it is not allowed!

Then I shall look forward to it.

And I would never dream of cheating, Miss Lestrange. I am a gentleman!
