Just over a week for the party! It'll be brilliant, I just know it!

I've found the perfect dress, as well, surprising really given the limited time and selection, but it'll look stunning!

Just a shame there's end-of-term exams, but that should all be over soon enough!

I want to know how plain, boring girls have a date and no one's actually asked me! Look at me! What is wrong with the boys at Hogwarts?!

	Well I wasn't exactly taking this thing enormously seriously! And I don't know much about the way Muggles are supposed to do things - some of the younger years were on about how you're not supposed to go without a partner?! (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

It's not to be taken seriously. Nothing Muggle ever is! It just wouldn't hurt to have another gorgeous set of dress robes, right?

As for the going without a partner thing, it's utter rubbish, and if they start imposing that because of some nonsense American rule we will have our very own dance/party that's much better! Show everyone how British Wizards get it right!

	Yes! And we can be smug about it, because apparently, according to one of the younger years, going alone to such things is the cool thing to do anyway. We can say we're au fait with the culture, darling, and wipe the smiles off some of those silly girls' faces! (Reply to this) (Parent)
