Who: Riley and Tao
What: an unexpected visit
Where: Tao's office

Tao had not gotten a lot of sleep. Thankfully, he did not need a lot. He'd cleaned meticulously of course, then sat on the phone all night. His source did not like to have any suspicion on them that they even liked vampires let alone were indebted to one. So a late night phone call was pushing things. Unfortunately, he did not have a lot of time to placate her. After explaining the problem, and promising this was a final favor she had relented and headed out to the church in the morning. He had laid in bed, no not a coffin, and stared at the ceiling. Usually a good couple of hours in the room, even if it didn't last as long as he would like, were relaxing. He'd instead found he let his guard down more then he anticipated and the shifter had garnered more respect then he had previously expected to give. Worse yet, he wasn't all that sure the rule of keeping things in the room would stick, as they had finished out negotiations inside.

That was upsetting as well. He'd had no problem taking out tribute. He had purposefully given the new leader the information to see how he would deal with it. Seeing if he would reach for that small bit of power, or even more. It would be telling on his position as leader and give Tao some weak points to use. Still, he had planned on enjoying the negotiations. There was nothing like riling up a shifter. Even the idiot power hungry ones.

Deciding sleep wasn't coming he'd headed into work, checking over inventories, new information and new hires. The club was doing well, they had a steady stream of regulars as well as those coming for the thrill of seeing a vampire. He drew up the new treaty and even slipped in a clause regarding collars to see if it would be noticed. The phone call from his plant came early and she had information. Not that it was good, she promised to stay on it. He explained it wasn't necessary, but she felt obligated. If only to spare the pack and vampires more problems.

He accepted a glass of blood to drink, from a blood bank few knew he owned and sat back to rest. Riley should be calling soon so he could pass on the information. The phone call, Tao mused, would be short and to the point. The shifter did not seem to enjoy talking to him much. The thought made his mouth twitch and he almost chuckled to himself.

Tao hummed, his throat vibrating with pleasure. Even with the water, the herbs warming in it, he could taste him. He tasted like heat, and sun. Like strength and power. He would play subservient, but he wasn't, not in any way. He allowed Tao to please him, hurt him, it wasn't from not having a choice, or ability to stop him. Which made it so much better, to be able to taste him. One hand supporting his lower back, he ran a finger along his entrance, pushing in just to the first knuckle.

Riley gave Tao's hair one last, hard tug and then slipped his hand further down the man's head, cupping his fingers around the back of his neck. He didn't push, but instead let his hand move up and down with Tao. When the vampire's finger pushed inside him, he felt his breath catch in the back of his throat and he let out a growl, squeezing Tao's skin. He couldn't bear it anymore, not with the hands on him and the mouth so tight. His hips began to move, slow and small at first, but if allowed, he would soon be moving against Tao's mouth in earnest.

Free to do as he liked in this vast space of a room, Riley let out a long, low howl as Tao began to move along his cock in earnest. He could feel his lower stomach twisting in twitching as the tension began to build just below his bellybutton. He lost his timing a couple of times, thrusting down on him as his hand moved. Only able to open his throat and take him in a muffled whimper pulled from his chest and he sucked slowly, not wanting to miss a drop to the warm water. He clenched around Tao's finger and he slowed the small thrusts before pulling out. Sucking at just his tip he reluctantly pulled back, and lifted his face. Removing his legs from around his shoulders he broke surface pushing Riley back to lean against the side. "You, need to breath little wolf. Head above water." He lightly reprimanded and kissed him softly, sucking at his lower lip.

Riley's hands instinctively slid to Tao's waist as he rose up out of the water. He smiled down at the vampire and met his lips eagerly as they came up towards him. He pulled the vampire's slim, hard form towards his body and kissed him deeply. He could taste himself on the vampire's lips and tongue, but he didn't mind. "Thanks for the concern," He murmured against Tao's lips. He turned his head and pressed kisses along the vampire's jaw. "You're so pale," He added, his tone amused, and you're all wet, you look like you're made of glass. I probably just look like a wet dog compared to you."

Tao smirked, hand going to Riley's face. "Explaining your death to your pack would not be high on my list of things to accomplish." Tilting his head to the side, he pulled an arm around Riley's back to pull closer. Her jerked slightly in surprise. "A wet dog?" He snorted, "Hardly." His fingers pressed, kneaded, his thumb ran along his jaw. "I can taste the sun on your skin, can feel the strength in your body, constantly there, even when relaxed. I can't seem to wear you out enough to make you completely pliant. I think it might be a loosing battle." He followed the trail of his thumb, licking along his jaw.

"You could break me, if you were really determined, there's always that." Riley replied, bowing his head to press the tip of his nose to Tao's neck, inhaling deeply. "But you'll never wear me down, and even if you did, I'd grab and pull you down," He grinned, "I'll take you with me." He pressed a kiss just under Tao's jaw, following it with his tongue and then a light nip to the skin. "That's funny." He mused, "I was telling you all kinds of things while you were under there, but I can't remember them all now."

Tao sighed and ran fingers to the nape of his neck. "No, I don't think I could break you." He answered softly. Not that he was in the habit of breaking anyone, though he knew he had it in him if he felt it necessary. A rumble started in his chest at the feel of teeth and his fingers flexed on Riley's neck. "I thought I heard you muttering, should I assume the worst?" He kept his voice light and turned to set against the edge.

"I was basically saying that you're fucking amazing." Riley replied, leaning in as Tao sat. He kept his hands on the vampire's hips and his lips on his neck. Even after all that, he was still exploring the sensation of touching Tao's body under the warmth of the water. "So, no." He continued, sliding one hand up his chest. Some part of him, deep inside, was beginning to recognize the danger of feeling this comfortable around the vampire. But just then his body was still rumbling with the pleasure that Tao had conjured up, and so he couldn't think too deeply, he just wanted more and more. He ducked his head below to nip one of Tao's nipples once, and then rose again, leaning his head back against the side of the tub.

"I guess not." Riley replied, settling easily in Tao's lap. It was remarkable how often they seemed to be in this position, despite the considerable size that Riley had on the vampire. It didn't much matter when they were in the water, he supposed. "I might start getting pruney." He continued, eyebrows rising somewhat. "Plus," He added, making a face, "There's come in the water - somewhere." He looked over his shoulder and pretended to search diligently for a few moments before turning back to look at Tao with a wide grin on his face. "We can get out soon." He concluded, but the way that he wrapped his arms around Tao's neck and pressed a searing kiss to his lips suggested that it might be later as opposed to sooner.

Tao was, content, to wait, to just touch, taste. He ducked his head to kiss along the hard ridge of muscle at his shoulder while he looked over the water. "You were covered in much more then that when you left last time." He reminded him. Teeth ran just over the skin of his neck, pulling a small groan. He'd not wanted to share a mark during sex for a very long time and closed his eyes against the thought. "Soon. I want you in my bed." He'd miss the warmth of the water, but the heat Riley gave off was a million times better. Not just heat, but light, warmth.

"I remember." Riley replied softly. He did remember, very clearly, how his body had ached for days, no matter what form he took. He had returned to the settlement just before the crack of dawn, since he'd had to bathe first before he could go home. He had a brief conversation with the Elders and had immediately fallen asleep upon falling into his bed. He raised his hand and twisted it around the back of Tao's neck, taking hold while the vampire ran his teeth over his skin. He remembered the feeling of having those fangs sinking into his skin, and it elected a small shiver that ran up his spine and chilled him from his core despite the water. "I want to be in your bed." He murmured in Tao's ear, his breath hot on his skin.

Tao buried his face against his neck, nipping just under his ear. "I hurt you. Speaking of your predecessor." It was as close to an apology as he could give. He had only been poking at the time, seeing how far things had gone within the pack when he really had no right to, but knowledge of the pack workings was scarce outside of the pack. "And how do you want to be in my bed? Strapped down? Stretched out?" He just wanted to see him naked on his sheets, strapped or not, but laid out, waiting.

"Words." Riley replied dismissively, still smiling. He stroked Tao's hair as the vampire's lips and teeth brushed his neck. "And we enjoyed ourselves in the end, didn't we?" He asked, his tone almost gentle. He stroked his thumb over Tao's skin in a slow circle. "I just want to be in your bed." He murmured, "Hard, fast, and comfortable." He licked his upper lip, "Let me show how much I want you."

	He tilted his head into the strokes and laid a kiss at Riley's pulse. "Whatever you wish." He stroked hands down his back and then nodded, "Right, towel then you have run of the room." Riley took one step back, and the air between them felt so thick and charged that he almost couldn't stand it, he had to have his hands on Tao's skin again. He put his hands on the edge of the tub and pulled himself up and out. Every inch of his skin dripped, water running down his skin in little streams. He reached for a towel and buried his face in it, rubbed it over his short blond hair, and then down the rest of his body. Normally he would have just shifted and shaken it off, but he had a feeling Tao wouldn't have liked that very much.

Once he felt sufficiently dried, he turned away from Tao and strode confidently to the bed. There certainly were many, many choice objects he could have selected from the walls and the drawers and closets, but since Riley was confident that this would not be his last time in this room, he passed them by and simply stretched himself out on the surface of the bed and slipped under the top-sheet. He crawled to the foot of the bed and then pulled the end of the sheet up and over his head, grinning at Tao from across the room. "Come get tangled up with me." He said, licking his upper lip.

Tao didn't follow immediately, preferring to watch Riley towel off. Every movement was a flex and stretch of muscle and he thought he might as well indulge. Hitting the switch to silently drain the tub he pulled himself up and quickly dried off himself. His eyes never left the shifter as he strode to the bed. Tensing only slightly wondering what he would want to work with or on.

In the end he left the wardrobe alone, not even moving the straps at the foot of the bed before he slipped into the bed rather then on top of it. His grin pulled another small laugh, his eyes sparked. It was such a wonderful dichotomy. The possible violence, the ability to let go and just, fuck. The reveling in simple luxuries and new sensations. Dropping the towel he walked to the bed, paused at the foot of it before moving to the side and slipping under the cool sheets. "I'm afraid it's too late for that, I'm well tangled, little wolf."

Likewise, Riley kept his eyes trained on Tao as he strode towards the bed. he felt a small rush of cool air as Tao rustled through the sheets. The smooth material still felt strange on his rough skin, but once he had pulled close to Tao again, it didn't matter. He wrapped his arms around the vampire's waist and disappeared under the sheet, pressing kisses to his collarbone, occasionally bowing his head to lick or nip at a nipple.

His body lost heat too quickly, and feeling Riley's heat radiate from under the sheets pulled at him like a moth to flame. Tao hadn't expected him to move so quickly, take control so assuredly and groaned, hand moving to the back of his head. His mouth was hot, his breath brushing over his skin. Lowering his head he glanced down, watching him and smiled. Fingers moved down over his back and shoulder blades. "You have a lovely back. Not that the rest of you isn't as magnificent." He amended.

"Thanks." Riley rumbled, his voice muffled by Tao's skin. He'd certainly heard before that he was a good-looking man. The woman in his pack had always liked him - though he'd always attributed that to his family's power. He ran the tip of his tongue from just above Tao's belly button up to his collarbone. "Hm." He let out thoughtfully, humming against Tao's skin. "You know, I can't say I've ever seen your bare back." He said, looking up to the vampire with a rakish grin. He chuckled and shook his head, and lowered it again to press kisses down the middle of Tao's chest. "Probably for the best." He concluded, "Fuck, you're already cold. I'm going to have to warm you up again" He gave Tao's skin a small nip. "You're so much work, Tao."

Tao wriggled under him just a bit. His mouth was too hot and each time his lips touched skin it went right through Tao's body. He raised a brow, "I've been absolutely naked around you, so if you didn't look you may have just lost your chance." His hands slipped up Riley's back as he moved lower, fingers running along his neck. He arched towards those teeth. "I don't warm, Riley. Not unless I've fed, and I don't feed. I won't ever be warm, or have a heartbeat."

"I just wasn't looking, I guess. I was otherwise occupied." Riley replied with a smile. He nuzzled his nose into the space just above Tao's bellybutton, pressing featherlight kisses across the skin. He continued his attentions to Tao's body with his mouth, his fingers dancing over the other man's skin, for a good two minutes, and then he raised his head to look at Tao again. "Why don't you feed?" He asked, softly stroking his fingers over the vampire's skin. "I know you drink human, I can smell it in you."
